It's taken me a long time to write this because I don't like to write reviews, let alone a negative one but every time I wash my car and look at the paint job Lonnie left me with, it makes me sick to think I paid all that money for my car to look worse.
I went to Lonnie because my Paint had fire damage from a major fire. I asked for a complete repaint. He gave me what I thought was a great price and the naive me thought it was partly sympathy for how I had come to him but it wasn't...he never had any intention of doing the job right.
They didn't take all the old paint off, they didn't protect my windows, trim or lighting. In fact they damaged my trim, head lights and windows.
After I got it back the first time is when I noticed they hadn't done a diligent job. They left paint drips, debris embedded in the paint, even an eyelash and didn't reattach one part of the trim before painting. So I went back and asked for it to be properly fixed. Lonnie said okay we will sand it all down, polish it and it will be like new.
Well he lied and it wasn't. They only sanded part of the car and then waxed it to cover up that they didn't do it as they said they would. So I took it back and he said he would make sure it was properly fixed.
Welp again he didn't. When he called me to come pick up the car it was in worse shape than when I initially brought it to him. The eyelash was gone but in it's place was an imprint and no paint, my windows, trim and lighting were further damaged and my entire car was covered in holograms.
That's when I said I was done with Lonnie, so I went to someone else. They did what they could but they couldn't fix the spider webbing, pock marks, trim, windows, lighting or paint drips.
The only reason I haven't taken Lonnie to small claims court is because when I asked him to reimburse what I spent at the other place he did, not because he is kind but because he knew he screwed up and if he paid me what I asked I couldn't take him to court.
I highly don't recommend Lonnies. I have a ton of pictures, not to mention the current state of my paint is still in because I don't have the money to get it redone, just as I didn't really have the money to waste on a botched job but lesson learned. Hopefully I can save someone else the headache.
I added some pictures I had available on my phone but I will add more when I get to my laptop. That's where the hologram pictures are.

Fair warningDon't take it to lonnys.If your vehicle has been their for weeks or months pick it up and take it to a shop that takes pride in their work.

I have never had such great customer service. However the actual paint job on my truck was so good I cannot rave about it enough. Lonnie the owner will greet you in his casual way and he listens and next thing you know you have a wonderful new paint job. He does custom paint beautifully. Can’t go wrong at Lonnies Auto Paint!!! The pictures posted were right after an unexpected red rain. Thus there was a bit of dirt in the air. After storm , wiped and was perfect.

Lonnie shared w me, that he has been around for 40 yrs. My husband Tom referred me to go to Lonnies shop to have my spoiler put on my car, I made an appointment, he had the job done in no time! It's a beautiful job! Thanks again Lonnie ?

This place is horrible! I took my really nice crew cab here to get worked on and the owner lonnie didnt even have the decancy to lock my truck up. I decided to check on it over the weekend and my doors were unlocked and my brand new $600 stero was stolen. Lonnie has been horrible to work with. Such a waste of money and i would advice anyone else to never take their car here. Your car is not safe with LONNIE!

I'm so unsatisfied with their work. I took my car five days ago so that they could do a paint job and when I went to go pick it up I found out that they didn't scratch the old paint off, they put the new paint over the old one and they were supposed to take the bumpers off and primer and paint it and put it back together but they didn't so they painted the parts in the car and they sprayed my car all over the place with paint. I highly don't recommend this auto shop.

I couldn't be happier with the repair Lonnie did on my damaged bumper. I can't tell the difference in the paint between the repair and the original paint; he matched it perfectly. His price was a third the price of the estimate I got from Lithia. Lithia wanted my car for 5 days; Lonnie completed the work in 2 days. Lonnie's Truck & Auto Paint gets a solid 5 Stars from me.
