It is an older motel six rooms need updating. There is no USB plugs and the floors were filthy there should be no reason I get out the shower and my feet are black before I get to put on socks and shoes.

**Motel 6 North Medford: Avoid at All Costs**
I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at Motel 6 North in Medford after a major car accident that left me without a vehicle. Despite explaining my situation and needing a place to stay with my two dogs, the management showed no empathy. Instead, they refused to rent me a room, citing issues with bed sheets that I’m confident could have been easily cleaned. Their lack of compassion and professionalism is appalling.
To make matters worse, during my four-day stay, I witnessed rampant drug activity on the premises, much of it centered around the area where on-site staff housing is located. This should be alarming, especially for management, yet nothing was done. When I tried to extend my stay, I was falsely accused of damaging the room—a blatant setup. The location may be convenient with freeway access, but the shady activities happening here make it a place to avoid at all costs.
**Motel 6 South Medford: A Different World**
In contrast, Motel 6 South is a breath of fresh air. From the moment I arrived, I was treated with kindness and respect by the staff. While the rooms might not have the latest upgrades, the atmosphere and service more than make up for it. I feel safe here and can actually rest without constantly worrying about what's happening outside my window.
The difference between these two locations is night and day. If you're looking for a place to stay in Medford, do yourself a favor—skip Motel 6 North and head straight to Motel 6 South. It’s worth the extra effort for the peace of mind and quality of service you'll receive.

The floor and sheets could have been cleaned. The floor hasn’t been mopped or swept in god know how long. The people at the front desk was nice and accommodating. Housekeeping is doing the bare minimum to clean room. Spider web in the doors. Could be a great place to stay. Floors need to be swept and mopped. Room 103.

I always enjoy my stay at the No. Medford Motel 6 because the rooms are clean, the location is ideal, but what ices the cake for me is the genuine hospitality I feel from the people working there. Just a few days ago I was having some issues with my debit card, but the young lady at the front desk (Bri) was so patient and helpful that it didn’t get uncomfortable and she actually expedited the process with great ease. I’m a man who appreciates feeling respected. So, thanks Bri and to all of the staff and team members, you are recognized.?
Nearby activities: The location is ideal for commuting to any and every activity that you would find in the area.

Room 151 has bed bugs i got bit on my stomach , try to tell the lady , try to come back and rent a room but she got upset for nothing , saying she wont rent a room when it was your problem that you had bed bugs ..said my boyfriend was upset but would ant you be upset too if u got bit by bed bugs , very bad customer service..

Friendly staff, the room was clean . The bathroom was big unfortunately the toilet seat was broken . The mattress felt like it was outdated . But nothing is perfect . I might use this hotel if some day I'm in methford

Unlocked the door to the mattresses flipped up against the wall, trash and belongings scattered around, a strong urine smell and CRUSHED PILLS on the bedside table. I wasn't expecting anything great (or even good) from a $106 motel 6 (nothing else available on short notice in Medford that night) but this was pretty shocking. The only positive is that the poor evening manager was equally shocked and horrified. He issued me an immediate refund when I told him I felt unsafe staying with my kids at that motel for any length of time. He said he had not been informed of any problem with prior checkout but someone had clearly started cleaning, so must be very poor communication from shift to shift. I'm just thankful for the manager's understanding, and that the drug use was so obvious so that my TODDLER didn't come into contact with DRUG RESIDUE on a poorly cleaned room surface. If you think I'm kidding or exaggerating I have uploaded 4 pics with my review.
Safety: Obvious drug use/biohazard in an uncleaned room.

The room we got we weren't informed until we checked in that it was a smoking room, we were told we could check it out and if the smell was too strong we could get a refund for the room. We did just that and informed the manager that the manager would cancel and refuse any refunds. Service was terrible. The room was beyond disgusting. Never considering a Motel 6 again.

This is the best motel I’ve ever stayed at. All of the staff here are so amazing each deserve recognition but Larry in particular he was so friendly and helpful thank you for making my time here amazing Larry!!!
