I highly recommend Jodi at Scissorhead Hair Salon. She has excellent styling and communication skills. We enjoy working together to explore new colors or a new style. When she hands me the mirror and turns me around in the chair I am always delighted to see that my color and style look even better than I imagined.

Love this salon, pricing is super fair and the quality of work from Shelby is amazing. I've been blonding for over 10 years and am so happy I found her after moving here. She takes the time to explain the process when I have questions and keeps my hair healthy during the lightening process. It has a clean aesthetic and everyone who works there is so nice and accommodating. Highly recommend

Shelby is the best hair dresser I’ve ever had in all my 28 years of living in the earth. She’s very passionate about her work. She has great technical and communication skills to understand my wants/needs with my hair. She’s very creative and professional and always makes it a fun experience! I highly recommend this salon and Shelby Glynn. Love the products available and the salon is beautiful. I was having some issues with my hair being really dry and damaged. With Shelby’s suggestions for different products and styling tools, my hair looks and feels so much healthier!! She’s so easy to work with and super flexible with scheduling. She’s the absolute best!

I’ve been going to Shelby at Scissorhead for the last year or more and LOVE her. She does an amazing job with highlighting/balayage for blonde hair. It always is exactly what I asked for. I highly recommend her and the salon is so pretty and is a nice environment to be in too.

Shelby Glynn is hands down the best stylist I have ever been to, and she is who I refer everyone in my life to. Shelby has been doing my hair for around 6 years and truly makes every request come to life, even the most outlandish ones or when I change my mind on a whim. I’m so excited she is at Scissorhead, too, because it is such a gorgeous salon; well maintained, exceptional product line, snacks and drinks, really nice other stylists, and super comfortable rinsing bowls! I can not recommend Shelby and Scissorhead enough.

Since my daughter works there I go and get my haircut there. She does a great job. They offer you a soft drink or coffee when you wait for your appointed time. It is always clean and it seems there is always laughter. I would go there even if my daughter didn't work there.

I have been seeing Jodi at Scissorhead for years and she is an exceptional hairdresser. She consistently does a fabulous job with my hair cut and color, always ensuring I leave the salon feeling happy and satisfied. Never in a million years did I think my hair could look like this!!!
If you have curly hair why are you going to stylists that don’t know how to cut it? Tabatha is a curly hair specialist and she did an AMAZING job on my hair!!
The best part is that I know EXACTLY how to style it at home too because she walked me through the process!! Such a change from my curls that I had before. I’m so excited!!!

I was on a mission to find a good hairstylist when I moved to Medford. It took some research and time; however, I found her. If you are looking for an amazing hairstylist, I suggest Jodi Gomes from Scissorhead Salon. I am always impressed with my cut and color/highlights. Jodi is a wonderful communicator and will listen to your wants and concerns. She is positive, friendly and always greets you with a smile. Scissorhead Salon is neat, clean and organized along with lovely decor.

Hair magician! We were headed out on vacation and my son was in need of an emergency hair cut. The owner was so kind to fit him into his busy schedule. He also connected with my son, and made him feel so comfortable. My teenage son said it was the best hair cut he has ever had. His hair came out amazing! We live an hour and a half way! But we will be traveling to scissor head salon for our haircuts!
