Jonathan is fantastic. Works on sewing machines other "bernina" technicians can't fix or have messed up royally. He is by far the best!!!

Absolutely the best customer service I have received in years. Jonathan took a great deal of time explaining the various serger options, showing me how each one worked and gave me a good deal on a serger. I look forward to visiting again. If you are in the market for a new sewing machine or serger, Top Stitch should be at the top of your list.

I posted a review here regarding our experience with Top Stitch Bernina in April of 2022. I provided details of the experience, none which were related to Covid, and I got an email today saying it was removed because they remove posts related to enforcing Covid restrictions because it's not the business fault. My sister and I read the political sign, posted on neon paper, at eye level, on their front door. Stepped inside, didn't say a thing, and the owner started yelling at us about his political views from across the room. Yes, literally hollering across the room at us. He said they just wanted people to know where they stand politically.We promptly left without shopping. The man had no idea what our political beliefs were, yet felt the need to attack us the moment we stepped into the store.

I am so very happy that I bought a Bernina from Jonathan and Karen. I am enjoying this machine and the quality of it immensely. Love going to their shop because of how attentive and caring they Are. Excellent customer care. The fabrics and patterns are unique. Karen has quite a talent for picking items to sell in their shop!

Just had my Bernina serviced and oiled - Jonathan took the time to explain a little about oil in the bobbin- which I did not know!great service- in and out in less than three hours as promisedthey’re very cautious with Covid and courteous which I really appreciated!

Great machine(s), great service and great help with various problems I have had over the years. Jonathon was most knowledgeable repairing a damaged machine several years ago. Wish they were more open right now but understand why not

Today my mom headed over to Top Stitch in Medford Oregon to pick up her sewing machine. They had a sign on their door in big letter that said "Trump is Guilty". After paying for the repair on her machine she nicely told the gentleman helping her that she found the sign offensive and that with all the hate in world right now she felt these types of signs could insight violence. Within seconds a lady from the back came out screaming at my mother that she needed to stop watching Fox News. As mom walked to the door, the lady followed her hysterically screaming at mom....proving mom's point about the sign. My mom is 84, she is an educated women and is very good at looking at both points on a subject and not letting the media dictate her opinions. She is in entitled to her opinions and did not deserve to be treated this way. In the future, should my mother's machine need service, we will pay to have it shipped to Texas where we are guaranteed good and kind service and we can insure that she will not have to be subject to this kind of treatment by these same people again. We will pray for them.

Absolutely WORST customer service. 12 back and forth emails...me asking for help on a pattern I purchased 1 1/2 years ago. from the get to the pattern was confusing so I went to the store for clarification. Karen spent 10 minutes trying to explain then suggested I contact Chris, a lady who had done the same pattern. We never physically connected, just phone messages which didn't resolve anything. I contacted the store via email..thus the back and forth. Finally, this morning Jon called telling me he had sent a link to the pattern maker...I didn't get the link. He insisted that he sent it...I congratulated him and went on to say I didn't receive it. Have you ever had someone repeatedly telling you that you received instructions 2 years ago? Especially since during this time you had moved, your husband had heart surgery, you had foot surgery AND had moved??? I DO NOT REMEMBER WHAT KAREN SAID TWO YEARS AGO....looks like I won't be receiving any help from the owners of Top Stitch which means I will NEVER set foot in their store ever again.

It appears that any criticism is met with a defensive attitude. if you truly strive to give good customer service, you might look at those comments as a way to improve, rather than blaming the customer.

I went to Top Stitch today to inquire about servicing and information on my Bernina serger.I was appalled with the customer service!Karen was not friendly and or helpful and downright condescending.Even though they are the only certified Bernina repair shop in my area, I would rather drive to the next city than patronize their store.I usually do not have the time to review stores and it’s something that I don’t usually do, but after my experience there, I felt it was my responsibility to let other people know so that they do not go through that same ordeal!If I could rate it below a one star I would.Not sure if this is a standard response that I received from you below or you did not read my review.I am not questioning the diagnosis or capabilities of the service you provide or the equipment you sell, it was how I was treated when I entered your store.My wife also experienced the same mistreatment when she came in earlier that day.
