It says you guys treat your customers like people, but I'm not even really a customer and I don't even have an account but every time I go in I'm treated so nicely by you guys I'm opening one next time. Very cool tellers. You really deserve more stars.

Someone wrote me a check from Umpqua Bank so instead of having it held in my bank for several days to clear, I went to Umpqua to cash it. They charged me $5 to cash a check written on their bank because I didn't have an account there. If there was ever a reason not to have an account at a bank it's because they do jackass things like this. How dare they charge me to cash a check written on their bank. That client is paying all the fees for their account, but they feel like they can charge extra money to try to force me to have an account there. I will never have and I'm call bank account. Ever! Shame on them

Horrible bank! I would never recommend this bank. I have lost hundreds due to them. When I was in the hospital they allowed charges to come out of my account even with a 0/neg balance and then charged me $35 dollars every time, even if the charge was for .99 cents. When I called they said they would only reverse 2. They also lead me to believe that if I agreed to a charge on my account that I would be able to keep the same debit card numbers(card was linked to many reoccurring accounts, Apple Pay, and other accounts), as soon as I agreed, she very rudely told me that my card was canceled completely. Didn't bother to send out a new card either. She knew the only reason I was agreeing was to keep those number and still conducted herself the way she did. The time I spent on hold alone has shown how much this company values their customers They are open til 6 only on fridays and not open at all on Saturdays . Those hours really suck for someone with out a debit card .

I went to this bank to cash a postal money order. They said I didn't have an account there and wouldn't do it. I had my ID but not my account number. The deal is, I DO have an account there! Two different tellers told me I did not have an account, However, my biggest complaint is this branch is not ADA compliant. When those same stupid tellers saw me struggling to open the doors they came running over to help. Nice. But NOT GOOD ENOUGH. I've requested hand signed apology letters and I'm taking these issues to the top. DO NOT MESS WITH PISSED OFF DISABLED WOMEN!!!!!!

I had the most pleasant experience today at the Medford branch. German was my teller and he went above and beyond to help me. I had to go back an hour later because our title company claimed they didn’t receive the email he sent so he took the time to resend it. He was so gracious, patient and helpful on both of my visits today. We don’t even bank here and are considering changing banks because of the service I received. I would give them 100 stars if that was an option.

Drove 20 miles into town to go to the drive-thru and it's not open like the hours say.

Rude and disrespectful about masking issues. Talking to a person as if they are a person and not a problem would be a good place to start.

The employees are mostly nice but don’t come here unless you have literally all day to spend because they are very very slow.

One will not find better folks. However, the service by phone has been horrendous most of this past year. I have spent 2 hours+ just today to make a simple inquiry. The first call said the wait time was 5 minutes. I waited almost 45 and never received a pick up. I understand many of the difficulties, between covid and the tragic fires. But I am becoming impatient. I miss my friends at the bank and I truly do need to know why I am locked out of even your automated systems.

Drive thru not open....been long enough - update your covid hours on google. I don’t need to go to the bank farthest from me hoping to get a slightly earlier open time from the rest of them, only to find you’re not following your posted google hours (which by the way are what the papers on the door to your establishment still say...). AND I can’t see someone without an appointment??? How are people closing on their mortgages??

During the covid-19 challenges that we're all living through I've seen many responses from various banks and lenders as I have a large investment portfolio. Since our governor has stopped all evictions and late fees many tenants have not paid rent , some with very understandable hardships. Each lender I've dealt with has taken the attitude we'll get through this together and gave a few months of latitude. The EXCEPTION is Umpqua Bank. Their program to Help those affected by this pandemic is to require an insane amount of paperwork to get 3 months of payment cessation BUT here's the kicker! They require you to put 6 MONThS of payments in a reserve account to meet criteria! Thank you Umpqua , corporate greed beyond comprehension.

Slowest tellers ever. Every time I go thru the drive thru it's always at least a 5-10 minute wait

The staff is responsive and caring during puzzling bank situations, mainly I'm just shouting out Jessica for being on top of it!
