I went in there today because I had a fraud alert on my card. This women was helping me but she looked like she really didn’t know what she was doing and seemed flustered. One of her male coworkers came over to help her with something on my account because she was telling me false information about my card, and she yelled at him in the bank and said “I know ****) she then proceeded to apologize to him and explain to me how rude that was of her to be yelling at him like that. After that it was insanely awkward for me and all the other costumers in the bank. She proceeded to help me then started silently arguing with that male co worker again. This time they were saying how she just misunderstood him and how he was putting words into her mouth and how he just needs to stop acting like that ect. I felt like I was in a room with my mom yelling at sister and all I wanted to do was leave but she had my card and my ID. The male was obviously very fed up with this woman and was not having it with her. This experience was super unprofessional of them and I don’t want to go into the bank again due to how awkward and the tension between them.

Worst customer experience ever. My CD was mature but due to covid it slipped my mind. On day 11 out of the 10 days they give you they took 200$ out of my CD for "holding onto my money " instead of doing the right thing when everyone is out of work and no income coming in they should have waved the fee. But no one cared so here I am leaving you a bad review. You could have rolled it into my checking account or my savings. Instead I closed all my accounts and still no one from corporate has gotten back to me.

I had trouble rectifying an issue with my accounts with the corporate branch, but it was resolved swiftly and kindly at the local Phoenix branch. The staff are fair and personable!

This Umpqua STORE so called. is in reality something of an animal house. They are located on Pacific hwy. near the town of Phoenix . Or. There is no effective customer service and the staff are trained to look the other way if you need help with the service or lack there of. The staff including the so called branch manager are generally rude and often downright vulgar. .. Believe me if you enter this branch you are on your own and subject to insult and nasty behavior . Unless you are someone easily impressed with free coffee or a news paper to read this store is a very big step down for anyone having a modicum of self respect.
