I set up my reservation through AAA at around 10 am and when I arrived for my pickup at 2 pm a 2022 Chevy Malibu was clean and ready for me, and the guest service advocates were friendly and easy to work with!

Very friendly staff. They were not able to solve my problem but it was no fault of theirs. Two of them tried but it was an issue with where I rented the vehicle that would not allow me to return it here. Super friendly, CLEAN facility!

Avoid Hertz at all costs! They put me in an unsafe rental car that was 5 years old with more than 70,000 miles. It has leaking tires and wreaks of a garbage like smell that is overpowering and nauseating. I should have never agreed to drive off the lot into what would become a nightmare. Before driving off the lot, I noticed that the tire pressure light was on. I brought this to their attention and their remedy was to put air in the tires. Two of the tires had less then 35psi. The next morning while driving in the dark the tire pressure light came back on. I had to put air in two of the tires. I called the local Hertz for an exchange, and they stated that they did not have any vehicles. I was then transferred to roadside assistance who offered to place the spare tire on but given that two tires were leaking I asked for a rental exchange stating that I did not feel safe. Hertz absolutely refused to give me an exchange unless I agreed to drive to the original rental office, even though it was an hour away. Roadside assistance even told me to continue to put air in the tires so that I could drive the vehicle! I insisted that I do not feel safe in this vehicle. Hertz said my only option was to have the vehicle towed to the nearest airport which is more then an hour away at my expense and then they would arrange for a Lyft to take me home also at my expense! To add insult to injury, I was told that it would have been covered if I would have purchased their expensive extra protection plan. What a greedy company. They do not care about my safety or the inconvenience this has caused me. Their rental fails due to no fault of my own, yet they want me to pay to have it towed?!? I plan to escalate this issue and report it to consumer protection groups and whatever entity oversees car rentals so that the next unsuspecting customer isn’t put into an unsafe rental.

Worst experience ever because I'm latino, they ask me for $500 deposit only because I pay with Debid Card and they ask for my Social Security plus to show proof of the SS.Don't know why that many hassle if I rented tru Expedia pay tru Expedia and pay the insurance tru Expedia.This is going to be my last time with Hertz, looks like they don't want customers Latinos I never have this issues with Enterprise .

Oh my gosh my experience out on the gloveland boulevard was wonderful the people were so nice I had such a good feeling when I left, Bobbi was fantastic.

I’m concerned about my upcoming rental with the negative reviews.I have been trying to call this location for 20 minutes and no one answers the phone. If it weren’t for my pick up in a few days I would cancel immediately. The fact I have yet to pick up my vehicle and can’t get a hold of anyone at the location is concerning.

Poor customer service. Was charged for a full tank of gas upon returning the car. Fortunately, I had time stamped photos of the gas tank on the day I received the rental and the day I returned it, so I will be receiving my refund but I won't get the 1.5 hours back it took me to correct the situation.

Worst service I have ever had at any location by far. Do yourself a favor and pick-up at the PDX airport. Unless you like dealing with extremely unprofessional staff (Bobbi Foster) is who I had the unpleasant experience dealing with. Cars are not cleaned. staff is unfriendly and don't know their own policies. Having someone like Bobbi representing your company is a BAD THING. On the day I came in the Bobbi looked more like she was coming home from the bar after a late night, then at work . I interrupted a VAPE or Smoke break in the office. Which triggered the immediate "what do want" This year alone I have used Hertz 20 plus times and will NOT use this location is the future for any rentals. I will be following this up with a call to corporate office. Hope to see "Help wanted " sign in the near future for better staff...

The rental was ready and well taken care of. The staff were quick to get us checked out and checked back in. They were flexible and polite. Definitely would rent a vehicle here again.

I rented a car for pick up on Monday 6/26 and they were very busy with just one customer service person but she handled it beautifully. She was very efficient and patient with rude customers. Give her a raise!

Total scam business, complete hole in the wall "office" that looks completely fake. We booked a vehicle for a school trip and when I got there to pickup the vehicle I got sketchy vibes the minute I walked in. The lady at the counter tells me that if I don't have the exact card that was used to book the prepaid rental that she can't give me a vehicle even though I had given her a company card that I use all the time. Then she tells me that she can cancel the reservation and rebook it but the rate will most likely go up so I said ok do what you gotta do... and what do you know, the rate goes up almost 100 bucks. So now I'm seeing red flags, and I tell her this sounds really sketchy that all of a sudden the rate almost doubled. I've rented cars many times on trips and I've never been told that before and even if it is true it still sounds like a hertz franchisee scamming customers into paying more. So she flies off the handle and tells me "I'm not going to rent to you then!" It was obvious there is no management or owner in this little hole in the wall so I say no problem... bye! I just went to enterprise which had way better and way more professional customer service.

The rental wasn’t ready at check in and we had to wait outside because the location is understaffed and the employee had to lock the door while he went out back. The interior had stains everywhere and I confirmed with the employee the condition was documented. The rental went smoothly until the end. I needed to extend, and again because the location is understaffed, I couldn’t get through to speak to someone and the website wouldn’t allow me to extend because the location is closed on Saturdays, which makes no sense at all. I never got a call about the rental and it was only for 2 days and they were closed anyway, so I assumed it would be fine. I received a call 2 days later, when they were open again, asking what date it was dropped off and questioned my miles, asking if I drove 20,000. It was strange and at the end he said he was going to look into it further. I never heard back and then got my final bill and my credit card was charged over $400 in charges and fees. I immediately tried to call to get an explanation of the charges and dispute them, the call was answered, but I was put on hold for an hour and twelve minutes before I hung up because it was 5pm and the location closed. When I finally got through 2 days later the employee said he was going to look into the charges the following morning and get back to me. Today is Wednesday, this was last Wednesday. I have heard from no one and the charges are still on my account.
