I had Microtech build my first gaming rig back in the early 2000's when the Pentium P4 was the chip du jour. A quarter of a century later, I'm still bringing all my computers in to them for service. Over the years, we've had them service laptops, business workstations, gaming PCs and do data recovery for us. We've always received excellent service from them. One of my favorite offerings of theirs is the ability to 'cut the line' and go straight to the repair bench for a very reasonable extra $45. Most recently, I had a GPU issue that was bricking my gaming rig. Brought it in, opted for the straight-to-the-bench charge, and had my PC back in my hands the very next day, working perfectly.I had them upgrade my case to a Corsair 4000D Airflow, which they had in stock in the store. Yes, their hardware does cost a little bit more than online retailers, but the money you spend at Microtech stays local, and that matters. Their prices are very reasonable regardless, and are only higher because of volume, not because of any kind of gouging. You also get quicker repair times by getting your part from their in stock items rather than waiting days to receive products in the mail. If you're after a specific part they don't have in stock, give them an opportunity to order it in for you.I've referred numerous friends to Microtech over the past 2+ decades, and they've always come away satisfied and with their issues resolved. Debbie and Patty up front are always helpful and welcoming, and Vince and Cliff are the technicians that make the magic happen. They really know their stuff and are happy to offer expert advice based on decades of experience.One of the easiest 5 Star reviews I've ever given.

Very nice people, build of computer is great! Ordered a monitor too and some pixels are dead. Called and asked was told since it isn't a large amount of pixels it likely wouldn't qualify for return so thats why not 5 starsI would think when buying anything new regardless of how much an issue is it would qualify for return.

My computer was at complete blue screen, when I brought it in the lady at the desk made me feel at ease that they could help no problem, 3-4 day turn around she told me. Wonderful! It was done a day early, I had to redownload my games, but just to have it running again makes me so happy! A little pricey for what they ended up doing but it was worth it to get it back working. I thank them for their very friendly service and for getting my computer back in working order!

I went to this company to the restore deleted files on my computer, when I got it today, they charged me $280, they never restored the data. They claim that The hard drive is old, could not restore the data, and what’s there is there, I know my computer, I knew there was a lot more data.All the information I got is what I had on the computer, I don’t know how they could charge me that much it was not worth it, I do not recommend this place, in my opinion they are dishonest. They treat me with distrust. When I came to pay. They hid the desktop When it was in front , they put it in the back assuming that I will steal it and run outside, and then, after I paid, they brought it back in, very unprofessional. This is my second time I go to this place and I will not recommend this place for anybody. Do not waste your time and money..

Microtech showcased notable expertise in diagnosing and resolving PC issues during my recent service encounter. I value their honest communication when facing uncertainties about the problem at hand. However, my overall satisfaction was hindered by the pricing structure for maintenance.Despite entrusting my PC to Microtech for a week, the resolution provided boiled down to the purchase of a new CPU fan, which came with a hefty price tag of almost $400. While the effectiveness of their service in fixing the immediate issue is undeniable, the substantial cost raises concerns about the overall fairness and transparency of their pricing.In hindsight, I would have appreciated a more comprehensive evaluation of the maintenance needs and a breakdown of costs associated with the suggested solutions. This transparency would have allowed for a better-informed decision-making process and potentially mitigated the surprise of the final bill. While Microtech's technical proficiency is commendable, addressing these pricing concerns would significantly enhance the overall customer experience.

Receptionist is extremely kind and welcoming. Even if she was unaware of a solution to the problems I was having with my devices, she redirected the questions to those around her that did and the staffing was able to answer all questions. Seemingly been in business for 50+ years and are able to keep as up to date as much as possible. Would recommend if you need parts, specialty parts especially!

Unfortunately but fortunately I had the chance to meet the Awesome people here at micro tech when my son decided to shove the wrong processor in to a motherboard that it was not meant for! On a completely new build!! with no Hesitation, Humiliation or Greed they took on my problem! They quickly had it diagnosed and fixed and nicely built in just a few days!! And at a very reasonable price!! Thank you so much!! Your service and care is very much appreciated!!

I’m so happy I took my lap top to Microtech to get my screen repaired! They were honest and up front about everything. Didn’t take long to diagnose and once the part was ordered they had it repaired in no time! I definitely recommend to any and everyone and will always go to them whether it be a repair or even trading in my computer when it’s time for a new one. Thank you guys so much!

As I walked into this computer parts and repair shop, I was elated to see many high-end and popular parts in stock, prominently displayed on their shelves! To my ultimate dismay, none of these parts were actually in stock, they were just displaying the boxes. Seriously?! Don't display boxes on your shelves for parts that are not in stock. I felt bamboozled! And as it turns out, they didn't even have thermal paste, a quintessential and very cheap item that is necessary for many tasks. If a PC shop can't even keep thermal paste in stock, it's not a place I would prefer to frequent. The other shop in the area had plenty, so it was not a supply issue. I will be taking my future business elsewhere.
