This pharmacy is absolute garbage. They won't answer the phone, their staff is rude and difficult every time we have to interact with them, and they make every refill difficult. Go literally anywhere else.

Worst Rite Aide I've ever been in! I don't know why I ever try to go in here to find the most basic things they never have them!

This is the friendliest pharmacy staff I've interacted with for as long as I can remember. I have been very pleasantly surprised so far!

I visited this location on October 24 for a COVID and flu vaccine appointment, and my experience left much to be desired. The staff there informed me that my insurance was invalid, claiming it didn't exist, and their attitude was quite unfriendly and unhelpful. Regrettably, I ended up paying out of pocket. When I requested a receipt for insurance reimbursement, I was met with unprofessionalism and was told they couldn't assist me. It felt as though I was treated poorly, possibly because they assumed I was uninsured. However, what truly perplexed me was the stark contrast in service I experienced the following day at the Rite Aid location in Gresham. This location efficiently processed my insurance and were highly professional. They even had my husband sign paperwork prior to the shot, which wasn't offered to me at the Milwaukie location. Such inconsistency in service is disappointing.I've contacted Rite Aid's customer service, and I'm waiting to see if they respond or take any action. I believe that the Milwaukie location's failure to process my insurance, leading to an out-of-pocket expense for the COVID vaccine, was a mistake on their part. This inconsistency is concerning and needs to be addressed. I hope for a positive resolution to this matter.

Can you please update your hours... my Amazon packages are being returned because your website says open 24 hours.... that's 3 delivery that have been returned because of wrong times and the delivery driver not being smart enough to read the hours sign.

The pharmacy here will not answer the phone. I'm clocking in at 45 minutes now because I need the answer to a simple question of whether or not a medication is in stock for an immediate fill. It does not matter if you are calling from a doctors office or calling as an individual consumer. They will not answer their phone. You have a one in one hundred chance of anyone even picking up to put you on hold, and if they do pick you up to put you on hold they do not say a word to you about it and will NEVER take you off of hold. How does this place do business? Genuinely?

I was really pleased when I heard about Rite Aids bankruptcy, it's well deserved. I hope this location is one of those being closed down. They sell expired food.

The pharmacist yelled at me when I showed up 2 minutes before closing. The cashier was nice enough to grab my prescriptions but the pharmacist continued to yell at me the entire time saying he didn’t want to stay late because of me. This pharmacy has been awful, long wait times, not processing orders timely, and geez for once how about helping the very customers you didn’t provide service to for the past couple of years?!?! What a miserable person to be that way! Don’t work for the public if you can’t be flexible by 2 minutes.

This is by far the WORST pharmacy ever. Every single time I go in, there has ALWAYS been a problem. Either they “can’t find it” or have an issue with “insurance” or it’s not filled yet and you have to wait 45 minutes. One time my doctor had to call them and bark at them because they are that incompetent and couldn’t figure out how to fill my prescription so that my insurance would cover it. My DOCTOR had to instruct them on how to do that!!!But this was the final straw. A week ago I went in to get my son’s prescription, they told me it wasn’t in stock and they would have it in Tuesday. Came back SUNDAY and they STILL did not have the product in stock. When I said “what?! This is ridiculous!” The pharmacy lady, who was extremely rude, said “Call your doctor because we don’t have it so go somewhere else!” I will definitely be taking her up on that! ??And while I was there, they were also having “insurance issues” with another customer. The customer said “there shouldn’t be an issue because I just left the hospital and my insurance was fine” and he said “I don’t know but it’s having issues” she said “well I guess I will go somewhere else that can figure it out!” Good call!Do not waste your time and go ANYWHERE else!!!

Absolute worst pharmacy experience of my life. Go anywhere else for your prescription! They made me wait one hour to "fill" a box of pre-packaged nicotine patches. They used inaccessible language, had horrible customer service, and got the prescription wrong. Then, tried to argue with me that it was not their fault. Absolute worst!!

This rite aid won’t let anyone use the bathroom… outrageous! What kind of store that promotes health and a pharmacy won’t let a customer use the bathroom. What make them hold it and cause illness! Rite aid causes Illness not wellness

Gary the pharmacist is amazing! Gary and everyone that I've encounter at the Milwaukie pharmacy has provided me with the best customer service, friendly, professional and great communication. Previously I went to the Rite Aid pharmacy in Oregon City which was always the most horrible experience so I moved over to the Milwaukie location. I'm so glad I made the move!

If you have any other options possible, I would recommend you explore them. I used this pharmacy for convenience as they were close to my business, but the service is so poor I am trying to move my prescriptions. There is no consistency with staff, and if you need to call, be prepared to receive different answers every time. As I work in healthcare myself I blame much of what I experience there on Covid, but also Rite Aid as a corporation as they are clearly not providing the sort of work environment that attracts/retains great staff. Having a basic prescription filled has become a bartering event that often requires two visits. If I am out or nearly out, they will fill my prescription, but will usually tell me to come back in a few days during hours I am scheduled to be with clients. I have witnessed a patient try to pick up a prescription for antibiotics and be turned away, which is an obvious health and safety risk. I would assume they would be happy to be rid of customers, but providing basic information required by Kaiser in order to do so will not be provided to help me leave. Again, as I work in a demanding job in healthcare, I do understand there are parts of the job that are frustrating and less desirable. However, I knew what I was signing up for, and I don't punish those I serve with incompetence and neglect. I can only assume that Rite Aid is providing poor compensation and poor management, and unfortunately everyone (workers and customers) have to deal with the impact.
