Molalla Market Center is a convenient, all-in-one shopping center described as a favorite little spot. It features everything in one location with a large, uncrowded parking area. Key attractions include a Safeway grocery store for affordable shopping, a McDonald's, and a Taco Bell in the same lot for quick meals. The center also offers cheap gas with short lines. Beyond these, the complex houses many other services: a liquor store, a Verizon or cell phone location, an H&R Block, a laundromat, a gym, Papa Murphy's, and San Blas Mexican Restaurant. For personal care, there is a Perfect Look Salon for haircuts, a nail salon, and a tanning salon. The drive to the center is enjoyed by visitors, and employees at the stores are noted as very friendly and pleasant. However, there are significant criticisms of the Safeway specifically. Complaints include frequent unavailability of advertised sale items, issues with digital coupons not working, problems redeeming gas points, and overbaked bakery items like French bread and cinnamon rolls. Some customers feel sale tactics, like raising prices for buy-one-get-one deals, are misleading. Despite these issues with the grocery store, the Market Center as a whole is considered a great, realistic-feeling place and a perfect hotspot for daily needs.
Clean, well organized and plenty of options. Sometimes the prices are ridiculous and I'll shop elsewhere. The mini pineapple for double the price of a full size gave me a chuckle.
