“I recently moved a load for Jared. The shipper took an excessive amount of time to load the truck. Jared went to bat for me and got me some detention pay. Truckers and brokers need to continually address the detention pay issue as shippers need to be held accountable for wasting the truckers time. Our time is more valuable than ever given the continued onslaught of over regulation in our industry. I have worked with Jared for a number of years and will continue to do so. As I have discussed with Jared the broker carrier relationship needs to work for both or it really isn’t working at all.”
