We have tried 3-4 different grooming locations and no one connected with my pup like Courtney. I highly recommend Oak Grove Kennel in Monmouth. Courtney is very knowledgeable about how to handle anxious pups. I certainly will be going back.

I have had the pleasure of meeting 3 of their staff members. Courtney, Jessica and Mitch. Courtney and Jessica have groomed my Goldendoodle Cannoli and my Standard Poodle Cookie. Their grooming and boarding prices are very accommodating and they do a great job with grooming! I have toured the facility too if I ever need boarding services. I really like how Courtney gets down to eye level with the dogs to gain their trust upon arrival. They really love and care for each animal! I will be using them again for either my grooming needs or boarding needs. Thank you! ????

Great place to take your fur babies!! Lox got a bath/blow out, nails cut, paws trimmed, and his coat feels soft. He is still a hyper puppy and they were so patient with him. Would recommend. We will be back!

I took a tour and decided to board my Luna. Everyone was friendly and the kennel was very clean. She did great and the staff said she was good. No negativity whatsoever and she was happy! Thank you all!

The people here are always so nice and treat my dog with friendly compassion! It always seems I call last minute but they accommodate me if possible. I like that my dog has his own run so he doesn’t come home covered in other dog’s slobber!

Initially I liked this place and believe it has the best price around. But twice now at least, I have left things like a blanket (during December, kennels are always open in the day, which is great for access but it is very very cold) and a kong with peanut butter, which were not given to my dog. I've heard the workers snap at dogs they are grooming. It makes me question what else is or isnt happening...it is only a question and thats why I havent given a lower review. But a question is enough to explore other kenneling options.

I took my Goldendooddle in and was told that he was so matted that he would have to be shaved. I was aware he did have some mats, but still do not believe it warranted an all over shave. In addition I specifically asked that the fur on the top of his head as well as as the sides of his snoot be trimmed but not shaved allowing for the areas beneath is ears which I was told was mated to be shaved. I just didn't want all the cuteness from his head fur to totally disappear. I was told a number of times over the course of the morning how busy they were with many large dogs that day, and I couldn't help but wonder if it was just much easier to just shave him all over and save time. I called this morning to talk with them, and spoke with Courtney who was very argumentative and rude. I was politely expressing my concerns and was told that they told me when I came in if I didn't want him shaved all over I could just take him some where else. Never happened. Instead of listening to what I had to say and try and understand my concerns I was met with hostility and in the midst of a sentence, I was promptly hung up on. So much for customer service. Wow!

I live in Portland and take the time drive out to Oak Grove to board my dog because of their fair pricing, very clean facilities, farm like atmosphere, and of course exceptional care. I also love how the kennels have an outdoor run.Thank you for taking such great care of my fur baby, as well as so many others.
