This park is next to the Columbia River. But it is also next to the interstate. You do have traffic noise during the nightRestrooms: Restrooms were very clean.Dog-friendliness: As long as your dog is on a leash you can wslk them through out the park.

Memaloose is definitely one of the top of my list. Conveniently located, clean showers and restrooms, nice weather, and picturesque view by the Columbia river. This time was not my first time but it was definitely the most pleasant. We reached on a hot day, but it rained for about 30 min right after we set tents and weather turned pleasant. It also rained most of the night, and it was soothing to hear raindrops on the tent when we were sleeping. Bonus was a beautiful sunsets.Playground: Lot of room for kids to run/bike around and burn energy. Grownups can easily set up a hammock or play frizbee etc.Restrooms: Very impressive clean conveniently located restrooms.

The spots are really close together, no privacy really. And if you are a light sleeper the locomotive passing by every 2-3 hours will keep you up at night. However It's a very beautiful campground and the hosts seem attentive.

Beautiful location and facilities are well maintained but would not recommend tent camping with small children here. It was incredibly windy and nearly impossible to get our tent up. And freight trains run ALL NIGHT. I thought there might be a train or two but it’s pretty constant. We ended up leaving a day early.

It's a beautiful campground but it definitely isn't made for larger RVs. Sites are very close together and small. Narrow roadway makes it difficult to back in with a 35 foot fifth wheel. The park entrance is located at a rest area with big trucks stopping and going all hours and they are rude about allowing you to get out.

The park itself is pretty good. Quiet considering your next to the highway. Showers always clean warm and plenty of pressure. The view from the outlook above the rv park is beautiful. While we couldn't put the kayak in at the park their is plenty of places close to the area. What I didn't like about the place the over abundance of foxtails. You can't avoid them coming out of the rv door. I was pulling them constantly out of my dogs paws and not everyone checks for them which can lead to huge vet bills from them causing infections from not being removed.

We've stayed here multiple times and have always had an amazing experience.Refreshing drinking water, friendly staff, and gorgeous views of the Columbia River!A word of caution though...watch out for the squirrels..they WILL invade your personal space and devour your food!

well maintained and peaceful campground, the view of the Columbia River is so beautiful. It’s conveniently located along I-84. Entering it via a rest area and make a right turn on the way out. Not too bad to drive through it to our site #33 with our 40’ fifth wheel. Stayed 4 days here and enjoyed many hikes especially the Rowena Crest Viewpoint - McCall Point Trail, the views are really breathtaking.

Really nice grassy State Park. nice views of the Columbia River. The railroad tracks are down below the campground at River level. Not particularly bothersome to me plus if you're going to camp in the gorge you're going to probably not be far from railroads. A lot of the campsites are far enough away and below the freeway that you don't hear the freeway much. Other than the fresh water spigot not working at the RV dump it's a great state park

Beautiful campground with cell phone reception and a beautiful view. Stopped here by accident but we didn’t regret it! Very useful information on the billboard. It states what’s sites are reserved for the night. Also all the sites are marked with “Reserved” or “Open” making it easy to identify where you can camp and for how long.Bathrooms are clean easy to use, quiet times are posted, and there is a train that comes buzzing through from time to time.
