The Brightwood Store is a great little convenience and general store in a woodsy area outside of town. It offers a nice selection of beer, cold beverages, snacks, and various sundries. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and provides service with a smile, creating a comfortable and upbeat environment where locals know each other. A food tent in the parking lot, "Wendies Wieners," sells absolutely delicious cheeseburgers and hotdogs for a good cause. It's a great place to stop, say hello, and pick up something quick.
Wow! What a great little store just 4 minutes from where we are staying. They open early, even on a Sunday. They are so well stocked; everything you might need and some good thoughtful extras. The place is immaculate. The guy at the register was also friendly.
