Bathroom didn't have any soap, but they had a bathroom so that's great! Loved the fried chicken, the Chinese chicken salad was really delicious. Some things were on a really good deal! Staff was really friendly. The store is organized in a confusing manner.

Staff is in general polite and welcoming. The deli is loaded with food. Lots of choices. They don't even charge extra for the mold on deep fried burrito. Yea, I didn't bother going back for a $1.25.... just tossed it out on the roadside for crows (they have a stronger gut). But it tells me about their food storage and quality. Won't be visiting that deli again, as i can't imagine what gets stirred back into day old (or longer) salads. Yuk!

Prices are good for a small town grocery store. I love the regular meat sales and the bakery/deli. I love that they offer lots of unique food items for such a small store. Now, for the reason for my low star review:90% of the employees are either outright rude or at the least unpersonable.I've lived in MP less than a year and frequently shop, at least once a week, and I never get service that wows me. Every employee other than one checker, Sheryl, either acts like I'm annoying them to do the basic of thier job or they are EXTREMELY consistently rude. It's not even that I'm looking for pats on the back or over the top friendliness, but a small conversion while checking me out would be nice, not sighing while checking me out when I ask questions would ve nice and there's one particular employee there that is just incredibly rude. She is just insufferable. Never smiles, never engages when i try to in conversion and is short and curt in her responses.I even had the unlucky fortune of being laughed at when I brought my recycling in and there was a few cans and bottles in the wrong bags. It's to the point that I probably will be driving to coquille to do my grocery shopping. I hate that I can't support my local store. I gave it months to improve and it's just not acceptable.Such a shame. And I chatted with a few other residents and it's not just me. They also felt the same and had decided enough was enough and started taking thier business elsewhere.

Something is horribly wrong at this grocery store. Prices, which are rising everywhere, are notably higher here than other stores in the area. Any time the deli is cooking chicken, the entire section of the store that the deli is in absolutely reeks of burnt, unfiltered oil. It's to the point that I'll wear a mask just so I can buy beer and chips without gagging on the deli stench. The meat is absolutely abhorrent. I bought 4 pounds of ground beef a week ago, and when I got it home, that same day, within an hour broke it open to make tacos, and the entire inside of the meat was brown, way too wet, and rotting. There was a line of about 1/4 inch of pink meat around the brown, and the rest was literally rotting in the package. According to the sticker, it had been packed that morning. So either a) they're lying about how frequently they package their meat, or b) they're willfully packing bad meat and attempting to hide it from the customer. The produce is somehow even worse than the meat, when they can afford to buy produce to sell to customers. Not even dry goods are safe from here. There are maggots in the EED branded rice bags, bugs in the instant mashed potato boxes, weevils in the flour, and more. I don't know where they're storing their dry goods, but it can't be clean or free from pests.I really love the people who work here, but I just can't keep wasting so much of my food budget on food that I ultimately have to throw in the trash (and then pay the garbage bill for throwing out so much food).
