Im only rating it a 2 for their clothing. Everything else is good but Omg it’s HORRIBLE. It’s in the worst 2000s era right now with awful colors, trash patterns and nothing they have reflex’s the fashion in style right now. Whoever is doing the pj section needs to be promoted to the main section bc it was actually cute with pastel colors and nice floral patterns while the rest looks like something a boomer mother would put on in 2005. Massively disappointed….

I had a medical event here yesterday that ended up being dangerous for me and I needed to seek immediate treatment at the hospital next door. I just want to say I feel thankful that from what I can recall the employees encouraged me to worry about myself and asked if I needed help (I declined) or if they could call anyone. They were more concerned about me than the embarrassing mess I informed them I left and tried to come back to clean in an altered mental state. They put me and my safety first. I still plan on shopping here and I am extremely embarrassed about it all, but I do feel based off of my experience that I’ll still be treated the same with respect as I was before this. And that’s not necessarily guaranteed these days and so I really, really appreciate it. Thanks to everyone who helped me and I’m so sorry again for the mess. If there is a balance calculated for any items that were ruined and trashed, please reach out to this email so I can pay for it. Thanks again to all involved.

I greatly dislike self-checkout. The employee was great; however, I would greatly appreciate more open registers for older people who need assistance and don't like to bag our own groceries. I walked put with $105 worth of groceries in two bags.

The store is usually very neat and orderly. Sale items are clearly marked. The associates are generally friendly and helpful.
The restrooms are generally well kept. The service desk is easy to find.
The staff works to make it right if you are not satisfied with something. Generally a good store.

Be careful coming to the Starbucks at this location. They overcharge your drinks instead of the actual price and I believe they are pocketing the additional money. it's happened to me twice now!! Make sure you're paying attention to the price. They are stealing people's money!!!

Absolutely adore this store (and I’m a person with severe anxiety). I use grocery pickup so that’s mainly my review. The staff go above and beyond. My order is always ready on time. Staff is courteous. When I’ve had emergencies and couldn’t pick up my order they let me postpone my pick up day to the next day! And one time they even called me after I had clicked “on my way” but then never showed (due to an apartment emergency) to check whether or not I wanted to cancel the order which was so considerate. And the minimum to bypass the pick up fee is only $35! Oh and don’t get me started on coupons!!! I always wish I was coupon savvy but alas I barely touch a newspaper. Well Fred Meyer actually tells me when items I’m already buying have coupons! So all I have to do is a single click to save money - no researching the best deal on an item I already know I want anyway! So Fred meyers stores = great merchandiser by Fred Meyer Newberg = where my anxieties are put at ease by friendly staff
