“Kara crushes the cycling class! I have been to several studios, and I am so thrilled to see a studio in Newberg, it is so needed. I hope this studio continues to grow, they are doing everything right. Highly recommend joining if you are a local, I will be sure to attend whenever I visit town!”

“My wife's family lives in Newberg and as we were visiting I was hoping I could find a place to train. I dropped in to Impact Performance training and was immediately greeted by professor Bryan. I asked if it was ok to drop into a class and he said absolutely!Professor Bryan taught a few excellent techniques from DLR to X and taught in a systems based approach that gave different directions based on what your opponents reactions are. This in my opinion is the best way to learn because you understand the "why" behind what you're doing. After the techniques we proceeded to train 6 or 7 rounds. You know it's a great place to train when the professor rolls with the students. Fortunately for me it was a small class due to the holidays and I was able to train with Professor Bryan a couple of times. He was precise, deliberate, and very highly skilled. I learned alot from him during the techniques but also during our rolls. He was also gracious enough to provide me some feedback to help me improve my game. I've trained in gyms all around the world and it's rare for a visitor to get that kind of kind treatment. I can only imagine how much Professor Bryan invests in his students. If you live in Newberg you should be training here. If you're visiting you should drop in here. Great gym, great vibes, strong techniques and awesome facilityThank you for having me!Pasha”

“If you are looking for a new start to the new year and wondering if there is a gym in Newberg to help you! Look no further than Newberg CrossFit Rebuilt! They have a 90 day onboarding program where you can try their group classes and have 24/hr access to the gym to work out and see if they are a great fit. After the 90 days, there are a few different programs to go into based on your goals. The owners are patient and available and will check in with you along the way in your 90 days to help you understand their programs and what they offer. After that, they will listen to your feedback and suggest other programs to continue. I have not been to the gym in over 7 years and this year was time to get back into it and become a better version of myself. The first couple times I went, I was greeted warmly and one person even said, "glad you're here", which made me feel welcome. I looked at all of the gyms in and around Newberg and Rebuilt, which is on the upper end of gym fees, seemed like the gym to start with. I met with the owner prior to choosing a program and they explained their program. They have different options for different programs and you're paying for their skill, the community, and the comradery. The group coaches remember you from week to week and encourage you to work that little extra. I am almost finished with my 90-day onboarding, and I look forward to choosing the program that's right for me. Thank you, Rebuilt!”

“GFU has a lot to offer the Newberg community. In this visit, we watched both the women and men play basketball. The venue is good and the teams are great fun to watch.”

“Hard to see from the road but believe it or not there's a weight lifting gym in Newberg! Allow me to give you a pros and cons list! Pros:*Free tour upon entry and 1 free workout to see if it's your kind of place*Staff is accommodating and very kind. Obviously passionate about the place.*Staff is very knowledgeable on all equipment and happy to give you workout tips.*Just opened up so you're hardly waiting turns for equipment *24 hour access *Interesting equipment that is young and old. Very 80s vibes (which I dig) *Towels and cold beverages are available for use and purchase *music is 80s themed, beats that stuff that planet fitness plays*Judgement free but allows acceptable lifting noise. Crazy huh? *Great range of free weightsCons:*Expensive for current state of gym but has potential *Place obviously is a work in progress.*large section of carpet is missing *Some equipment is in need of a deep clean (some equipment has rust)*Rooms are still being remodeled *Place is very packed with equipment *Lacks stair climberAll in all, the place isn't bad. Just needs a bigger customer base to get the upgrades it needs. Great start and ideas for the place. The owner has a dream, just needs customers and customer patience to make it real.”

“Tristan Schuh does a fantastic job of managing this location. Additionally, he is a top-notch personal trainer. I just completed my complimentary personal training session with him, and it felt great. He did a very good job of pushing me until it burned, while still taking into account my individual, physical limitations.”
