I hired Desiree to do my hair and makeup for my wedding day and it turned out amazing. I got so many compliments on how great it all looked. She listened to me and made all the changes I wanted after my trial and made me feel so beautiful while also still feeling like myself. I couldn’t have asked for anything better!

I drive 45 minutes one way to go to this salon, Desiree is the best! My curly hair presents some challenges and she is always spot on with how she cuts, styles and colors my hair. Plus she is kind and warm and makes the whole experience one of ease. I highly recommend her especially if you have curly hair!

Desiree did fantastic work for me on my wedding day. She helped me feel confident and beautiful for getting ready and was so easy to talk to. My hair and makeup stayed completely intact through 100 degree heat at an outdoor venue, hours of dancing, sweating, and crying (happy tears). I didn’t even do a trial run and she perfectly executed what I was hoping for. I felt glamorous but still felt like me. I would 100% recommend her for hair styling and makeup artistry!!!

FANTASTIC CURLY GIRL CUT! Desiree is amazing! I have been going to her for a few years now. She knows how to cut my curls. She spends the time cutting each curl to perfection and never cuts them with a blunt end (she uses special curved shears). The curls sit wonderfully and grow out beautifully. She is the best hairdresser I have ever gone to. I am always recommending her to all of my curly friends.

Desiree did my bridal hair and makeup, almond with the makeup of my 5 bridesmaids. She was absolutely magical and really did a wonderful job on all of us! I couldn't recommend her more! She is also so kind and so much fun to be around!

I can't say enough great things about Desiree! She is a rockstar. She was able to make me feel at ease when I was new in town almost 10 years ago and looking for a new colorist/hair-styler. I have been using her ever since! Desiree pays attention to detail, is sooo knowledgable about hair care, color, and style. I love being in her chair and know my hair is in good hands.
You will not be disappointed in a visit to La Muse Beauty Salon. It is relaxing and fun. I always leave feeling refreshed and confident in my new hair color and style. Highly recommend Desiree!!!

Desiree is a gifted hair stylist and colorist and a skilled makeup artist. Her work is only slightly superceded by her sparkling personality. If you are lucky enough to secure her for your special occasion or, better yet, ongoing hair needs, you will consider yourself fortunate indeed.

I did not hire La Muse but I felt compelled to make sure everyone knows how amazing Desiree (owner) is. I contacted Desiree to inquire about bridal services after my original Artist who I hired last June moved out of state and did not tell me. Desiree immediately responded to me, answered ALL my many questions and made me feel like she really cared about my worries.Well... I accidentally sent her an email basically telling her what a horrible business she had and how I dodged a bullet by not booking with her, etc.. not realizing I was emailing Desiree and not the place (lash and lox) that I was thinking I was emailing! When i hit send I realized my mistake and immediately sent an apology as Desiree has been nothing but absolutely fantastic!!Desiree sends me an email back telling me that it was ok, it happens. I on the other hand feel like a total jerk!Then, I just get an email from her and she has personally invited me and my fiance to her vineyard for wine tasting as she feels so bad that the I have had such a bad experience with the bridal artists I have encountered thus far. Who does that?! I'm just a random person that she has never met but here she is treating me like I was family!I'm telling you, if you want someone who actually knows the meaning of customer service then look no further. I wish I could have been able to hire her and even though she is an hour from me I could easily see myself going to her for my beauty needs, and I will absolutely be recommending her salon to EVERYONE! You can't beat a great artist who also has excellent customer service. Oh, and don't just take it from me, look at her reviews because I am not the only person who left a 5 star and didn't actually hire her. That should tell you something.
