Pretty good place to eat it you’re in the dining area. If you choose to go into the bar area let it be known that the bartenders are constantly being overwhelmed with the locals as they’re trying to take care of everyone. And from what I’ve seen the bartender is really trying to work to get food and drink orders taken care of, just seems like the locals that are frequenting the place don’t realize that they can’t monopolize their time. That being said, the food is great. I’ve been here several times and have ordered takeout a bunch of times as well.Parking: If you get near where the restaurant is before happy hour you’ll find parking, but later in the evening parking becomes scarce and it’s not uncommon to have to walk several blocks.

Food is what you would expect from a Chinese place. The service was awful. Like they’ve hired their nephew who’s clearly in high school. Doesn’t know the first thing about waiting tables or serving guests for dinner. The spill over noise from the bar was almost intolerable. At the five o’clock hour on a Friday the place was empty. I wonder why………

Newer owners of this place so went to try it because hadn't been there for awhile. Still nice huge portions! Crab puffs and pork lo mein is my go to there. The staff are WAY MORE FRIENDLY then the past staff was (at least the person answering the phone, placing orders and cashiering). She was so polite and nice, way way different then the last one or two ladies who did that job there. The BBQ was a little dry and over cooked, that's my only complaint of everything I've tried there now. Would definitely go back

Generally really really good, but this time we had a Spring roll that was… I’m not even sure what to call it. It looks like it was wrapped in one wonton, wrapper, and then wrapped in another one drug through the batter and tried really fast but the inside one did not cook. Rubbery dough didn’t cook. Other than that they’ve been great for a number of times that we’ve been there. And then we’ve had no real complaints, but we normally dine in not take out, so This is only different from our normal in that way.

Something must have changed recently because the taste got waaaay worse. This used to be one of my favorite places since about 2006. My go to was the dinner special with General Tso chicken. Now it's much lighter in color and tastes like BBQ sauce. The spring rolls used to be good sized and crunchy, now they are small and mushy. The soup has a much stronger pepper flavor, but not necessarily worse. The fried rice used to have spring onion, egg, and meat. Now it's just meat. Such a bummer.

We used to to to Edens Gate, but since a change of owners, menu change and much more expensive we went there tonight, we both had the #7, we could have split one order. The food is so good. We will be back, looking forward to having lunch
