I visited the spa and Jory restaurant. This was my second experience at the spa. What a lovely place. Relaxing, peaceful and wonderful spa amenities.
I stopped at the Jory restaurant for lunch, sat outside, although it was cloudy and sprinkling on and off it was comfortable with heaters and a fireplace. The fish and chips were very good. Crunchy thin breading, not greasy or heavy. The chips were brown and well done, lovely. I will be back for sure.
All of the staff that I encountered were pleasant and accommodating. I will recommend this spot to anyone who wants to enjoy a luxurious experience, whether it be for a few hours or overnight in wine country.

First night the pool was too cold. Was told they keep it at a constant 83 degrees. Sent email asking for 85 degrees to take the chill off, noticed it was better the next day. If you are spending all that money, they should at least have a heated pool. They didn't tell me about "turn down" service. Freaked me out when I got back to my room. Found a nice hill to watch the sunset. It would be nice if there were benches to watch it. Enjoyed the firepit. 2nd day, breakfast was good and enjoyed the outdoor patio. Room service food pricey. Two staff didn't notice the used bandaids next to the pool steps. I had to call and ask them to close the sliding windows next to the pool when it got cold and dark. The floor of the pool is rough and hurt my feet, recommend they fix the floor of the pool to match the hot tub which didn't hurt my feet. Tub in room is huge! Loved sitting in the window seat in the room.
Rooms: Lovely rooms. Loved the window seat. Wasn't told about "turn down" service. Recommend that it be written on the check-in info sheet.
Food and drinks: Breakfast good. Room service food was procey and had limited options.
Noteworthy details: Pool chilly, recommend warmer temp of 85-86 degrees. Now i know why there weren't many people using it. The pool floor needs to be redone, hurt my feet. Hot tub temp was perfect, not skin burning temp.

We had a wonderful stay at the Allison Inn & Spa. The hotel and grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed walking the trails. The restaurant is superb. My husband had the best pork tenderloin of his life. Breakfasts were wonderful as well. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again.

Super nice! Great secluded location, great views, peaceful, elegant.. the Pinot burger was delicious and the Austin Knoll Fire Pinot Noir was superb. The only negative is that I was not able to get a spa appointment.. and they did not seem that busy! But willing to try again..

Attended for an event (didn't stay there) but it was lovely and the staff were super helpful and attentive. The path to the ceremony was a bit of a walk for some of the elderly attendees

WOW. The Allison Inn & Spa provides the definition of Exceptional Service. I am a wedding planner and had the privilege of working alongside the incredible staff at The Allison Inn & Spa at a recent wedding. Their team is always there to help with whatever tasks need to get done in order to help the wedding day move along as smoothly as possible. Each staff member cares about the details, is attentive to the guests, and anticipates the needs of the event. Their event space is gorgeous and I cannot wait to work at the Allison again and implement all the wedding ideas I have now!

They’ve thought of everything. Comfortable beds, pillows and bedding. Well appointed rooms with all you could need; luxury bath products, tea kettle, fireplace, tv, coffee maker, mini-fridge, seating area, and a balcony to sit and enjoy the beautiful views. From arrival to departure the staff is welcoming, friendly, and eager to meet your every need. A perfect place to recharge with a spa day, a walk around the gorgeous and lush gardens, a sit in the large hot tub, or a meal at the fabulous one of its kind restaurant and bar. It’s perfect.

We recently stayed at the Allison Inn and Spa, and it was one of the best experiences of our time as a married couple. We were there for our anniversary, and it was as if the staff went out of their way to make our stay as memorable as they could for our special occasion. Every detail was attended to, the grounds were immaculate, and the service was amazing! We will come again!
