My mother is over 75, lives in a rural area, over an hour away from the nearest town, by herself, doesn't drive and can't see very well. Over a month ago she asked for a gas refill and said for them not to come during a certain period due to being gone for a number of days on a doctor's appointment. You all came during the time she was gone, but didn't turn the gas on. She has called 7 times, made multiple onsite visits to Newport requesting a turn on (via rides from friends). Still no gas.If you have a mother that you care about, you should be able to see how the situation above is an outrage. Or maybe your mother doesn't need to eat over the last month?

Like others have said, terrible customer service. It's a bit ironic they are "Amerigas" but are sourcing jobs in India. On hold for 20 minutes then they hung up on me. Second call took forever too, difficult to understand/communicate basic stuff. Said I have to wait for them to call me to schedule a service call. Meanwhile our line was cut and we have no gas at all, been a week or more and still waiting for that service scheduling call. I don't understand why they can't schedule an appointment. What is the point of customer service if they can't do the basic service of making an appointment?Update 2/21/23-- I emailed as instructed below and still we have no service appointment. We have called and emailed multiple times and they tell us it's scheduled, but when I ask for a date they say there is no date because they're booked. I said this isn't ok, we need to be able to schedule an appointment as it's been over a month but they tell me it's not possible. This is insane, talking in circles and not able to get an appointment scheduled. They say they schedule the appointments when I ask to speak to someone who can do this but then they say they can't schedule it because they're booked. It's just flat of infuriating, pointless waste of time.

We have a very courteous and efficient delivery man. He has explained to me how I can check and update my tank levels online so we never run too low. He's gotten to know our usage patterns and made a special stop the other week because he knew we were probably running low because of the freezing weather. He has a long, steep yard to climb with the big heavy hose to get to our tank - but always does it without a complaint. I believe he's been with your company for some time. I hope you reward him accordingly.

I could not say enough bad things about our experience! We are still without gas! Original promise date of Friday, here we are on Tuesday evening with no gas after we have been promised every day that it would be 24 hours.

We've had such a horrible experience with this company. Literally been on the phone with them for 3 days straight, paid for expedited service, and got the run around for 5 days now. I have never had this kind of experience with a company before :( still no propane.

Amerigas no longer receives calls at their office, all calls are routed to a call center outside the U.S. Apparently they make an appointment to schedule an appointment. The whole process is clumsy and non productive. I have literally made more than 10 call to get service and no return calls have been made even though the situation has been supposedly elevated. Horrible customer service. I do NOT recommend Amerigas!

I would have given zero stars but unfortunately that's not an option. I can"t say enough bad things about AmeriGas...they give a whole new definition to unresponsive. I have been waiting over 4 months for them to take away an old tank that still has propane in it. It's a hazard and dangerous. In all my years of being an adult and paying bills this is the absolute worst company and customer service ever!!

Ive been using this company for 3 years now. What a great business to work with. Excellent prompt service. Always on schedule. Customer service rep is so professional and helpful. Definitely recommend them.
