“Someone was trying to use my debit card so I had no choice but to cancel it. At my local branch I was told it would take 7 to 10 days to get a new card or pay $45 to get one rushed in 3 days.
I was told the Eugene Oregon branch cut new cards but they were temporary until your new card came in. I called the Eugene branch to ask if they mailed out new cards. I was told they did not. I spoke to a women by the name of Judy, I told her our situation that we were getting ready to go on vacation and really needed a debit card but did not have $45 to get one rushed.
She not only overnighted my new card to me is was a permanent card and not a temporary card, and she did not charge $45.00 to get the new card. She understood the only reason I was getting a new card was because someone was trying to use our account not because I carelessly lost mine. When I told her we were going on vacation she said how can you go on vacation without a debit card. She not only rushed the card in the overnight mail she did not charge me $45.00. Kudos to Judy at the Eugene Branch now that is excellent customer service.”

I decided to go to Umpqua Bank, a reputable establishment and when I was in IT they were one of our customers. Great people. The Newport branch is beautiful inside and out and the service was superb. Could not have been a better experience. I would not hesitate to choose this bank as your only one.”
