I'm one of the gas attendants here I started like a couple weeks ago and I got to say I like my job I like coming to work everyday and helping people the best I can. But it's always customers choice if they prefer to pump their own gas I let them if they're having troubles with the machines when they're using their card I do my best to give them instructions so they don't have a tough time running the machines. I'm learning so much even learning how to fill the propane there's a lot of people coming and going out of the vp gas station and the only thing I want to do is try to help all of them and keep them happy no matter if they are disrespectful I try to still do my best and be professional and respectful if you prefer to pump your own gas heads up if you using your card and it says is this a debit card you always need to say no. no matter if it's a debit card you need to say no. I don't know why the pumps are like that like I said I started 3 weeks ago but I'm out there to help the people who need any help if needed just ask and please don't be disrespectful I'm just there to do my job and I like my job and I like to help customers that's real talk. And please do not light up cigarettes smoke at the pumps please would be appreciated.

They suggested I take my business elsewhere. I did, and I suggest you do the same. There are plenty of gas stations witb attendants that dont get fussy when you pump your own gas.

Filled up on a Saturday night on our way to Florence. The attendant was quick, friendly, and helpful. Prices were better than the last fill-up. The gas station looked clean. Would recommend.

This has become my favorite place in Newport Oregon to get gas and propane. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Manager is a sweet person. New pump on the propane tank so it's more accurate than other places in town.

You need to honor your hours. We were there trying to get gas at 8:45 pm you shut the lights off after you clearly saw us waiting at 8:49... 11 min before you close.We are loyal customers who came specifically from a distance because we like that shell.We didn't expect that kind of poor customer service.We went to mobile. They were still open.

It's right on the highway. Seems like a pretty busy place to me for sure. Seems to have about the same price for gas as everyone else.

About 16:15 on 5/11/2022I stopped for gas and went inside to buy a few items. The lady behind the counter did not input the amount I gave her when closing the sale, which confused her since She also slipped $20 into the drawer before realizing what I gave her. The register should be $20 over today or she will pocket the money. The lady was clearly on a substance or was senile. I will never come into this store again and will advise every individual I can that this Chevron steals from their customers.

My girlfriend went in here and the cashier was overly creepy. Held her ID and kept repeating her name to himself and made her feel very uncomfortable. And this one isn't for the employees, but the fellow customers, three locals went in after her and were following her around the store. We pulled out of the parking lot and the gas attendant was just staring at us. Newport sure knows how to keep it skuzzy.

Didn’t know you can’t pump your own gas in Oregon. No signs stating so at all. I get small mom and pop stations but cmon chevron, don’t have your aggressive employee yell at me like I should have known. Most of us Americans pump our own gas. Put a sign up.

The guy who served us was extremely pleasant. We only bought fuel. Price of fuel is reasonable compared to other gas stations.
