OUTRAGEOUSLY over-priced! "Boutique" or not. ALL of the items are DONATED/FREE inventory for you. N what cross-eyed individual in the back room is pricing these items!!?? Geezuz!!! How can u swindle customers like that? Have you no shame? That's EXTREMELY rude & greedy. Will never go back. I trully don't even know how they are STILL open at this rate!!! ??? #dontbother

Prices on a lot of items here are MORE than retail, as new items. If that huge, glaringly awful fact alone hasn't stoped you - the selection here is terrible. If it's a boutique I would assume they filter for nice brands but there's plenty of low quality fast fashion brands. The staff here make you feel really uncomfortable for some reason too. If you're under 60 years old prepare to feel the hot, fiery eyes of judgement for absolutely no reason.(I've been here NUMEROUS times and it's always the same)

It is absolutely appalling that an organization can accept used items and sell them for a premium price. Most of the prices are far too high and sometimes even more than what they sell for in new condition at a department store. The positive about this location is that this store is organized nicely, and most of the products are in good condition. I've never been "welcomed" by an employee while there, but they have never been rude to me. They are generally helpful when I have asked about a product that is located behind the counter.Unfortunately, I cannot fully recommend this store due to their outrageous prices on used and donated goods.

Prices are absurd for used items , and used toys that cost The same price brand new. Used squishmallows that's are almost full price of what I could pay online for a brand new one. Only positive I found 3 useful books. Which were over priced for being used.

I get it Goodwill Boutique, prices are going to obviously be higher. The 2 old ladies that opened up at 10 on August 31 have horrible customer service skills. Nice store, just seems out of place in Newport.

This might be the first bad review I've ever written. Okay, it's called a Goodwill Boutique which I've never heard of and my husband and I were curious about so we went in. Mistake!! Staff was unfriendly, snobby in fact. Prices were high, more like for a real boutique instead of a resale thrift store. But the breaking point was when one of the staff literally followed me around the store. At first, I thought maybe it was a customer who just happened to like the same items that I did, but no, it was a staff member. I may not have looked like I walked off a movie set but, you are working in a goodwill thrift store, no matter if it has "boutique" in the name. Very disappointed and offended. Do not recommend. I just if you are dressed like you shop at Bloomingdale's you'll be okay but would you really be shopping at a Goodwill?

Awful. You just cannot charge MORE THAN retail prices, for used items. Boutique or not, the staff is unfriendly and seem to be in over their heads. It is kept clean and well presented, but it's ... not someplace I'll shop.

This store is very organized and clean but the prices are wild for these used items. They call it Goodwill Boutique to justify this pricing but I didn't see any brand names worth buying in here.

It's a boutique store, with hand picked selections from Goodwill donations at a higher consignment price point. Prices were decent, if you don't consider the moral quandary of supporting this company and the practice of selling donated items at such a mark up.Despite other reviews about the quality, I think this store gravitates towards classic staples from mid-tier brands over the last 10-15 years. Not everything is a score, and still requires some searching through the racks to find the better items. It could be good for those trying to be eco-conscious and/or buy quality items that will stand the test of time at an affordable price point. The ladies working seemed genuinely put out. Appeared more interested in maintaining their curated store's appearance rather than selling anything. And yes, I put everything back the way it was found. But damned if I wasn't watched like a thief while looking throughout the store. Rude about trying things on, aggressive about the return policy. I'm sure these behaviors come from past experiences with difficult customers. But I'm not them, and the shopping experience was sour only because of the negative attitude and judgmental air of the employees. Might come here again, but I don't plan on engaging with the staff more than absolutely necessary.

Zero stars ! I came in here and spent over $100. The woman with the really bad make up all over her face, made it a point to follow me all over the store like I was going to steal something. This woman judged me by my tattoos I walk around with thousands of dollars worth of tattoos on my body every single day that’s before I even put my clothes on. Who are you to judge anybody you work at Goodwill! You have no idea what the people that come into the store do for a living! The cost of my tattoos …..more than you would make in months ! I shopped here because my mother taught me used is just as good as new ! I highly doubt I’ll be back again ! Well at least until your gone ! You need to take a look at yourself in the mirror before you go judge anyone! You are as ugly on the inside as you are on the outside!

UPDATE: I did end up going back for A perfect pair of 80s acid wash jeans. So I upped my rating from two stars to three. However the jeans shrank so much I can’t wear them now. The joke is on me!REVIEW: Don’t hate me for being honest! This place is kind of like the Emperor’s New Clothes. Lots of people think it’s snazzy and high end. Hate to break it to you, it’s just another Goodwill. But much more expensive.Still it’s fun to pop in just to see it. The staff is very kind. The people watching is more interesting than looking at what’s for sale!Don’t say I didn’t warn you… ;)

Very well organized. The pricing is market competitive and not thrift oriented. If you're looking for name brands that are slightly used this place is good. For things that aren't limited edition it'd be more effective to shop end of season at the retail stores the items came from.

Zero stars for the woman with the face plastered full of bad make up and red lipstick all over her teeth. I am pretty well covered with tattoos , I walk around with thousands of dollars on my body every day ! That's before I put on clothes! This woman made it a point to peak around every rack at me , mop right next to me and no where else in the store ! Lady you work at freakin goodwill ..... My entire body cost more than what you make in several months ! We spent over $100 in the store . Left feeling like I should have said something to her ! Judging people by what they look like is what you look like on the inside and out ! Lady you are an ugly human!
