Highly recommend! They have a beautiful and clean shop which made me feel at home. The shop has a great location and has the best stylist around. Extremely nice and great price. I've been to every salon in Newport (and neighboring cities) and was very disappointed until finding "Hairs the Thing." The owners are awesome people who strive to give back to the community.

Recently moved here from Vancouver and needed a good local stylist to make me look presentable. I work in the service industry as well, so the fact that she booked me as a walk-in, same day for later in the evening was astonishing. Made sure to thank her for squeezing me in, it was a lucky circumstance. Her salon is clean and vibrant, welcoming and peaceful. Currently decorated for Halloween, super fun! She makes great conversation, does a great job with men’s hair, and even cleaned my beard up a bit. Found my new local stylist, looking forward to my next appointment?Services: Haircut

Jake is the best barber on the coast. He is very friendly and welcoming, and does his best to make time for you. I’ve gotten 3 perfect cuts in a row so far. You can tell he really takes pride in his work and his goal is to make you happy.
