About Newport Performing Arts Center
The Newport Performing Arts Center (PAC) is the premiere performance venue on the Oregon coast. It is home to a group of resident companies affectionately called the PACRATs, a Performing Arts Center Resident Artist Team that consists of community music, theatre, and dance producers who keep the facility busy year-round. The PAC offers an incredible sound system, affordable snacks and beverages, and a near-constant rotation of great theatre, music, comedy, and dance, much of which features local talent. The 300-seat venue has excellent acoustics and sight-lines, with comfortable seating and a professional management team and friendly, attentive volunteer staff. Visitors can enjoy a pre-show dinner at the nearby Allred before taking in the performances, which are described as "top-notch" and truly entertaining.
