I had a great experience here! We were shopping for a new car and Josh greeted us in the lot. He was super helpful and knowledgeable without being pushy. LOVED the little things he did, like adjusting the seat and washing the windshield before we got in...those details were noted and appreciated. He even volunteered to come in on his day off if we needed help with car settings. We chose the car and the transaction was seamless and pleasant with Jeff. We are thrilled with the car and the whole experience...highly recommend!

Worst most dishonest Honda dealer I have ever experienced.
I bought a 2025 passport from sunwest.
I bought it to travel in and I did. I put 28k miles on it and the battery needed replacing. I was told by the dealer that it was not under warranty. I paid cash for the replacement, the charge was 335$
The starter was burned out because of the faulty battery. The warranty covered it.
While my car was in the shop for the starter I had 27$ in change in the door, it was my laundry money. Someone helped their self to it.
I brought my car to university Honda and told them what happened.
They told me that the battery was covered and they called Sunwest.
Sunwest promptly gave me a refund over the phone.
The owner of university Honda called and questioned the owner of Sunwest
Sunwest said that the person was new and didn’t know This was a flat out lie!!!
The person who waited on me and told me that my battery was not covered has been working there for over 10 years. This is not the first in discrepancy that I have had with Sunwest Honda. I had my oil changed there on my brand new Honda Accord on three separate occasions They left Greece on my inside door handle. The third time this happened. I went to the owner and he got huffy with me so I took my car to Lithia Honda in Salem. I told them what had happened and I asked them if they would check their work because I do not trust them. I also had my trans fluid changed at Sunwest when they checked my transmission fluid. It was low. This is a brand new car they changed my transmission fluid. It was the first change that I was supposed to have and it was low. They said that there was oil dripped all over the pan and that the screws in the pan were loose my oil pan so they cleaned up my car they re-changed my transmission fluid re-changed my oil did not charge me And gave me a note to go show to Sun West Honda, and when I gave it to the owner, he immediately cut me a check to cover the cost of the original oil change, and the original trans fluid change.
My advice stay as far away from Sunwest Honda, as you can get boycott them
Lithia in Salem is the best.

Greg, Mike, and Jana were AMAZING! We’re so happy to support this local dealership — the experience was completely hassle-free and honestly blew our past big-city dealership experiences out of the water. The service was friendly, professional, and genuinely above and beyond. We love our new ride and will definitely be back to work with this fantastic team again in the future!

I came in with an unexpected car problem and they helped me really quickly! Every single employee I interacted with was so kind, friendly and helpful! They had me in and out within 15 minutes and I can finally breathe easier now that my problem is solved. Thank you Bruce and everyone at Sunwest Honda for your help!

I just bought a new car at Sunwest and was very happy with the whole experience. My neighbor referred me as he bought two cars there and said it was a straight forward experience. I don’t like car buying games so I was glad to hear that. Jeff did a great job at all aspects of the car deal. I can’t say enough good things about him. He was accommodating in every way. I also want to mention that Greg was also extremely helpful and very nice to work with. I was so glad to buy local and have an ongoing relationship with this dealership for service in the future.

Probably the worst place to go and buy a car I don’t recommend at all the people are rude and unprofessional save time and money and go to Power Chevy or see Ken at Toyota across the bridge !

My skid plate started to fall off while I was driving. It was getting damaged by the road. Sunwest Honda was helpful and got me taken care of really fast. I was visiting from out of town and I was worried I wouldn't get it fixed before the weekend. I called them because PJM Auto was busy and they recommended I call Honda. From answering the phone to getting helped at the front desk, everyone was helpful and friendly. William took care of removing the plate and he was also friendly and informative. They did not charge for any services and I felt much better after leaving. Thank you for the assistance and the kind hospitality :)

I purchased my vehicle from them in February. Granted it is my responsibility to inspect everything but I wouldn't think they would sell me a car with a tire that had an almost splitting side wall. I can see where the previous owner hit a curb pretty well and took a gouge out of the tire. I ended up needing to buy new tires the next day after buying the car. Not something I expected, typically you budget for that. Anyways, I thought I would have the car serviced there because the selling department and servicing department are two different ones. I needed an oil change & tire rotation. I asked twice if they rotated my tires, they said yes. I got home and I knew for a fact they did not because one of my wheels has a small mark of yellow paint on it. I ended up going to Les Schwab for the rotation (love them). I called them the next day. I inquired if they rotate tires, which he said yes. I informed him that I was in yesterday for service and they did not rotate my tires. He pulled up my account and he said well I won't argue with you but it shows that we did. I explained how I know and he got real quiet and said oh. I let him know that I was not too happy and very apprehensive about my oil change now. He said he would let the manager know. I'm disappointed because I do not trust the Toyota dealership on the coast, as they have done some shady stuff to my other vehicle for oil changes so I go to the valley. Well, now it looks like I will need to go to the valley for my car's maintenance.

On vacation and tire pressure light kept coming on. Went to Sunwest and they took us in right away. Found a large screw and repaired the tire then noticed I was due for an oil change and they took care of that and checked on small unknown recall. The service department is fantastic. Was in and out in an hour. Phenomenal customer service

They took their time however I trust the oil change and fixing a factory recall issue took less than an hour n a half. Friendly staff, nice waiting room, easy layout.

Roy, Liz, and Jerry Hembree are absolutely SUPERB ! Roy is a very effective Service MGR with great people skills, Liz is a Superb “People Person” , and Jerry the Best Mechanic -Best of the Best ! They service our Mercedes , Honda, and Porsche Boxster ! A truly Superb Dealership !
