Holy crap. Rudest employee ever works here. He’s always here and is an older gentlemen with glasses. God his customer service is awful if I could tell the owners I’d tell them. He speaks to clients like we’re dumb and in an accusatory tone. If you hate your job find a new one don’t take it out on patrons trying to get things done.

This post office along the Oregon Coast in Newport is clean and well laid out. As I came in on a Saturday morning, I was promptly greeted, and assisted with my mailing needs and the employee was friendly. Their mailing supplies were all in stock as well so I was able to pick up boxes to mail my next packages.

Some people go out of the way to help. NOT HERE! My second time at a post office and All I apparently needed after waiting 20 minutes in line was one inch of tape to complete my transaction. Michael had an endless supply at his right hand but insisted that I purchase a whole large roll off the rack...I will never come back to this location. They need a real postman at this location. The lady postman who helped me here months ago was awesome. She wrapped a mile of tape around the box I brought in with a smile! What happened with good old fashioned American postal service???Lucky for me there's another post office at Safeway! Whew!

The postmaster here is entitled, grandiose, and beyond two faced. He could care less about the people. I explained to him the ongoing issue I’ve been having with my mail and he responded “I find that very funny” and laughed in my face to which he was ZERO HELP. (Not his first time causing more of a problem either).He has done this with multiple people in Newport as they too have similar problems with him.YOU GUYS NEED A NEW POSTMASTER. Someone who isn’t a complete douchebag.Thanks.

USPS Newport decided I just have PO Box due to Contract Carrier. I am a recentl work disabled senior. Driving? Getting in/out of vehicle? Carrying packages while disabled IS USPS concern, rep brings packages to car!How do Contracts get reviewed?

Communicate with your customers and provide a better experience.Reading the previous reviews and also experiencing my own issues with deliveries there has to be a better way to do things.I’ll just be more mindful about who the carrier is when I order things in the future.
