I would not haul their rock if I was paid to do so. I would drive three times farther to get good rock and not what they say is rock at Main Rock. I honestly do to know how they are still in business. You can literally break the rock in you hands after just a few months out in the run and rain. You can’t tell me that is anywhere close to a rock. If you put water in the rock and it’s black then run away. Johnson Rock or kinchelo rock…. Which is the same rock but it is a rock that will last. It has a nice white quartz in it most of the time.
Main rock has nice people, don’t get me wrong but for the price it is just horrible product. You will spend three times the price in the end when it just turns to mud and you have to get it scraped out or hopefully covered with a real rock.

I don't possess much knowledge when it comes to gravel etc.when you start talking weight, density etc. Called them first to see if they had an assortment they said they did so I headed out that way. Got the grand tour, literally got driven to the pile my product would come from and I was informed that this was best and what most people used for what I was doing. Sorry for the run-on sentence. They put me in contact with a guy that had a 5 yd dump and it all worked out great. Will be back for the second half of my project.

Wow! Great service from Main Rock. They were happy to let me walk around the quarry and look at their gravel and rock types. The girls in the office were so kind and answered any questions I had. Delivery was earlier than they had thought which was great for my project timeline. They even flexed their schedule to get my gravel to me when I had a break from my 9-5. Excellent service, people I can trust, and a great product at an unbeatable price for Coos County. 10/10! Thanks team!

I would not get my rock anywhere else!!very friendly and prompt. Every time I ordered rock, they came the same day fit me in their schedule. easy to talk to good quality rock!!

Horrible customer service.A complete rip off on sand I bought. I ordered 20 yards I got 16. And the rock they sell is very poor quality I don't recommend them what so ever

Very disappointed not only in product but in customer service. We ordered 4in minis but half the order was too large a rock or so fine one would slip and fall when wet. There were multiple delays in delivery because even though we ordered and paid ahead other customers were stten to first and we got what was left.We spent $12k (which is a large amount for a mom and pop business, and we need quite a bit more) and when Main Rick was called to discuss the issue we were told it’s not the right time of year to be laying rock and maybe we are new to Oregon and don’t understand how much rain there is here…We are from Seattle, we know rain!My husband has been the traded for many years and knew to order the 4in minus because of the rain and If we waited for rain to stop we would never finish our project!! With more rain coming the rock needs to be laid now so all our hard work isn’t washed away.It seems they didn’t need our business,Individual on phone was argumentation, condescending and rude. We just wanted them to make it right but there was no discussion to be had, apparently the customer is always wrong. We were told it was a family business and they treated you right, this was not our experience. We learned that we are not the only people given poor product and service.We went to Knife River rock company and got good product right away.. I suggest you try them first. See pictures below to see discrepancy in product size.
