The self checkout is now limited to 15 items or less,
The cashier said it was due to people not scanning all of the items they walked out with, I ended up in a line with a human checker. She was very nice and very fast. If they man the regular checkstands to alleviate long lines due to the self checkout situation,
my rating will be higher. I will see what it looks like next week. Time has gone by, and I have noticed the checkers are doing a great job keeping the lines manageable.

Absolutely horrible!! I ordered 3 days in advance for two party trays. The wraps are a third of the size from others I have ordered from Roseburg Safeway and they charged me 60 dollars anyway. Then the shrimp tray they tried to pass off right from the premade section and charge me a dollar more than you can walk up and buy them for! The only good thing is the wonderful lady in the meat department tried her best with what she had. It’s completely wrong but she was amazing and really did her best!! I am so disappointed and will not order trays from this Safeway again. However to the woman who helped me in the meat department…she deserves a raise!! Thank you!

Some of the better quality meat and produce in town but ordering from their deli has gone down hill. Ordered the express special which is significantly more expensive these days which I was willing to accept but they only partially filled the container. Not worth the money I put it back in their deli section and left they can keep their overpriced partially filled container of Chinese food.

I usually go to Safeway on Johnson in Coos Bay, but I was in North Bend and went to the Safeway there, it was on 4/17/24 at around 2pm and the thinner woman working in the deli was the rudest person I have encountered in a very long time, I will continue to shop at Safeway on Johnson, they aren't rude there
