Prior Club FittingI had previously been fitted at a local club champion, and since then, I have had a few issues that I haven't been able to fix—most importantly losing roughly 3 strokes on average per round with driver. As well as poor 2 iron and long-iron dispersion performance.The Bag Evaluation with BenI felt that something was happening with my ball flight with driver as it looked like it kept trying out of the sky. I was also only averaging a total 270 yds with driver having a 115 mph club head speed (which should average around 300-305).During the bag evaluation, Ben and I witnessed a terrible ball flight and data that suggested that I had been improperly fit and we agreed that getting a bag fitting would be worth exploring.The Full Bag FittingWe went through the entire bag and as I focused on feel and the ball flight that I liked, Ben made sure the data was also optimized.We found that the shafts that I was fitted for were way too stiff, and it felt like swinging a telephone pole which reduced the stability and spin through impact.I ended up completely changing my bag as the results from the clubs Ben fitted me for were night and day difference. It reduced my dispersions in half with irons and driver, and increased my driver distance by 30+ yards! If you are similar and are a good player looking to make it on tour, this is the best experience if you want to get the same type of fitting as the best players in the world.

In short, Ben changed my (golf) life. I went for a Lie & Loft adjustment and got so much more. He didn't give a lesson, per se, but his keen observations about how I was hitting the ball led to a major swing overhaul. My game will never be the same. I am forever grateful.

Ben and Jason were absolutely fantastic to work with. I originally had a set of clubs on order with a retailer, and given the recent supply chain issues, the clubs were overdue by 5 months. I gave Ben and Jason a call to talk through what I was looking for. They were both super helpful and answered every question I had. To my surprise, they were able to obtain the unobtainable heads and shafts, build them, and ship them out to me in a week.Their attention to detail was just exemplary and confirmed every detail with me, including the type of ferrule I wanted on the clubs. I've had clubs custom fitted and made before, but these guys are in a class of their own. I know I will be making equipment changes in the future, and I can't wait to work with Ben and Jason again! While I don't live near where they operate, I'm very tempted to make a trip for a full fitting!Thanks Ben and Jason! The clubs look and feel great, and thanks for accommodating all of my requests.

Extremely knowledgeable and meticulous fitter and an even a better builder.I’ve had too many experiences where I’ve ordered custom clubs and they’re built at the OEM and they’re off spec leaving you kind of just stuck with what you get because of parts tolerances and cookie cutter builds. Had a really poor experience at Club Champion with a mis-calibrated trackman and it’s hard to beat his fittings on a grass range with real turf interaction. Ben stocks and measures all his driver heads and builds them personally so you know exactly what you’re buying. To me that’s a huge benefit because while a good fit is important, getting the clubs built to that spec is just as much so.Most recent purchase was a hard to obtain set of Callaway Apex TCB Raw irons with Oban CT-125 shafts, custom lofts and lies that were spot on, BB&F Co. ferrules and black/gold Golf Pride MCC+4 teams grips that were perfectly @D3.5.

Ben is the top of the top the top at what he does. Incredibly lucky to have him here in Oregon. So much better than the typical fitting experience. I got my entire bag fitted, but just what he did with my wedges alone would have been worth it. Instant improvement through the bag. His knowledge of the game, the nuances of the equipment and ability to match it all with my particular swing was just amazing.

When my usual club builder closed shop I started a search to find some one that I felt comfortable with and that had a good reputation. When I found The Tour Van, I was impressed by the website design and info and of course Ben’s background. After a series of email discussions about my fitting numbers, I had Ben build me a TM M6 driver, 3 wood and M4 hybrid. I was after specific lofts which Ben was able to accommodate since he has the ability to measure loft on his Green Machine. I gave Ben my specs which he nailed! The clubs look great, feel great and flat out perform!Played 18 holes today at Chilliwack Golf Club. Its been dry and windy here for several days so the course it nice and dry. Using the Mizuno RB Tour X ball. Hole 13; Par 5 playing some 585 yards down wind with a forced carry off the tee and into the green. I hate this hole! It sets up weird for me. But not today. My driving has been amazing since bagging the M6. I stood on the tee, picked my target and let it fly. I killed my drive with the M6. My ball got great run out. Had just under 200 yards to the flag. Choked down on the M4 hybrid an inch and pured it! 6 feet for eagle. Had lots of looks for eagle over the years but none were ever this close to the hole. Pressure is on! I stepped up and drained the putt center of the cup. 3rd ever eagle in my life!Ben, the woods you built me make golfing from the tips a lot more fun! Distance and accuracy like never before! I truly appreciate all the time you spent working with me to hone in on the right head specs and shafts.

If your clubs weren't fit and built by Ben, you are missing out. I had a full bag fitting and Ben absolutely exceeded my expectations by a long shot. He is incredibly knowledgeable and was able to dial in my new setup quickly. The entire experience was top notch, but one thing I appreciated the most was his patience and desire to listen to what I wanted and what each club felt like as we went thru various options. During the fitting, it was obvious he is really passionate and wants to help get you into the best club and bag makeup possible. I was also impressed with how he determined my setup - he doesn't just rely on computer numbers. He asked for my feedback, looked at my divots, listed for specific sounds at impact, etc. - incredible! I'm now able to hit shots and go after pins I would have never thought of in the past. With my new sticks, I'm truly more excited to play golf than ever before. Wish I could give extra stars - thanks, Ben, for an amazing experience and awesome new sticks!!

In the past a golf club fitting of this caliber has not been available to the public. Every golfer who is serious about their game would benefit from it. I just couldn't get myself to go to a store hit into a net and have a store employee tell me what I needed. Ben is a true professional club fitter with some impressive clientele to his credit and the experience was thorough, impressive and it resulted in some improvements that are already evident. Ben was meticulous in his approach and the service was impeccable the guy is tenacious left no variation unexplored. In a word, thanks, it was worth every penny.RICK WESTON

If you are a golfer who wants to maximize the performance of your equipment, you MUST go see Ben at The Tour Van for a club review and fitting. I am a 15-handicap player using clubs that were, at a minimum, 5+ years old (my irons were from about 2002). Ben patiently analyzed the performance of my old clubs, then brought out several alternatives for me to try. I ultimately ended up purchasing XXIO hybrids and irons. The nasty pull I had grown accustomed to when I hit my irons was now gone. The right-spin I had always compensated for in my hybrids was also gone. I'm hitting the ball straight and have gained at LEAST 15-20 yards on every shot. He also adjusted the lie on my putter, resulting in straighter putts. Ben is patient and, importantly, he listens. They say you can't "buy" your game, and I used to believe that to be true. But since my experience with Ben and The Tour Van, I think you can definitely maximize your potential with the right equipment and fitting, and Ben is exactly the right person to make that happen. I heartily endorse him.

The experience working with Ben was unlike anything I've been through in past club fittings, and far exceeded my expectations. In addition to the latest in technology, his fitting process provides true craftsmanship. In addition to my new driver, Ben transformed my existing iron set by correcting lies and lofts that had gotten a bit out of sorts after just 2 seasons of play. If you're an tournament player, avid weekend golfer, or even a casual hacker looking for improvement, go see this guy asap!!

My recent club fitting included a full bag analysis and subsequent new club purchase. I’ve been fitted for new clubs many times before, but Ben’s effort was really special. He showed the ability to match clubs with shafts allowing me to adjust ball flight seemingly at will. I think my best golf is truly ahead of me.Thanks again,Ed Joyce
