I have gotten nothing but superb service from this post office. They really are doing their best dealing with very limited resources. And I am so grateful they are there. It would be horrendous to have to go into Hillsboro to get our mail or postal services.

I have a package put in a parcel locker but they gave us the wrong key!!! I reported it yesterday (Friday) and they said they would call, but to no avail. Now I have to raise the roof with them, YET AGAIN, to get my package on Monday. So aggravating!!!

They’re so ridiculous. They will never ever deliver packages like ever and they expect you to pick up your packages when they aren’t open on the weekends. I work everyday of the week during their business hours and can’t pick packages. This’s crazy. where is the manager what’s going on? Somebody has to do something about this. This is UNACCEPTABLE

They don’t deliver my packages, ever. I work during their business hours so it’s impossible for me to pick my packages up unless I have a day off. My neighbors all have the same problem. This town is growing - this post office needs to as well. I’ve never lived anywhere else that doesn’t deliver to their residents, come on guys

Refuses to deliver packages

Bottom line, the only way they will give me my mail is if I put a mailbox on the fire department's land or pay them $40 for a PO Box so I can pick up my own mail. I wish I hadn't bought a house in this town. Post Master reached out and explained why they cannot deliver to my house. It was recommended that I contact consumer affairs so they could explain this to me in a way I would understand. Please provide the email address to contact consumer affairs as the website offers a generic number and no one can be reached. I doubt this will make any difference or help but I would like to reach out. I bought a house and the post office .3 miles away will not deliver packages and keeps sending back. When I purchased the house there was a mailbox out front that the previous owner took with them. We installed a new mailbox and submitted a change of address online at USPS.com. Address was verified as deliverable. Was told by the Postmaster that they are never notified of a change of address because it only notifies the place I am leaving. This has never affected mail delivery previously in AZ, GA or OR. I was told by the Post office that I must ask the fire department across the street if I can use their land to place our mailbox because the carrier route only drives one way on the street and cannot cross it to delivery mail. Due to the direction of travel, they cannot service mail receptacles on my side of the street. When I asked why they can't deliver my packages that would be left at the physical door to my house I was told it is because I don't have a mailbox installed across the street, but if I did then they could cross the direction of travel and walk a package across the street. They cannot guarantee the City will allow me to place a mail box on the fire department land, I wand if they refuse then I will have to pay $40 for a PO box at the Post Office to pick up my mail if I want to be allowed to receive mail and have packages delivered to the actual door of my house. The carrier can cross the street, going against the direction of travel on the route for packages IF I have a mailbox on City owned land, but not if I don't. I am not sure if having a PO Box will allow me to get packages at my house or if that will require me to go to the Post Office to pick up. So, they are sending back Christmas cards and gifts unless I pay more to pick up my mail at the post office via PO Box or obtain permission to place the mail receptacle on City land. The legal question of how this worked was not answered, only that my neighbor had been allowed to do it. FedEx, UPS, Ontrac, Amazon, Lowes, DHL have all been able to deliver to my address. I was told USPS in North Plains is considered rural and therefor does not have to deliver mail farther than .25 miles from the post office location, however the Postmaster has decided to accommodate customers who reach out for service and expanded that area. How is this service policy amended or is this a choice that can be made to override policy? What are the legal ramifications of using property I do not own to receive mail? Can they decide to remove my mail receptacle? What is the policy for ensuring safe delivery or reporting theft? Why is there a PO Box charge if delivery service is not available? If I am forced to pay for a PO Box because I cannot place a mail receptacle on City land does this mean I will be required to pick up packages at the Post Office or will those then be allowed to be delivered to my physical address?

Always quick to process my mail and deliver it. Upfront about their capabilities. Eager to help. 10/10 would choose over fedex and ontrac any day.

Always delivering packages late and to the wrong address even with the simplest of instructions.
