“We were in town for the holidays and I was looking for a beginner knitting pattern and supplies for a gift. They had kits at the store but they were out, so instead I got wonderful recommendations for a pattern, good yarn and needles. The ad hoc kit was exactly what I was hoping for!!! The store was fully stocked with a wide variety of yarns. And the pricing was so reasonable. While we were winding the skeins for my gift yarn I also got a lot of advice for myself!! My favorite part about knitting is the community, and this shop exemplifies everything I love about this community. If I didn’t have to fly home I would have bought a whole sweater’s worth of their yarn just for me. I look forward to coming back the next time I am visiting Portland.”

Because at the unloading point you can buy food at the grocery store nearby and spend the night peacefully at the dock door without turning on the engine and the neighbors' reefers at the truck stop.
