The vet here are Incredible. In our case, their creative thinking, avoided our dog, having to have ACL surgery and also solve some shoulder problems. She is completely mobile now and highly active. We have looked a long time to find a clinic with this level of care.

I so appreciate Pioneer Animal Hospital. All of the staff are so knowledgable, friendly and helpful and I can tell they call care so much about their patients. I'm so thankful for the care they give our dog.

I started going to Pioneer Animal Hospital 12 years ago, primarily because of their vast knowledge of Bullmastiffs. My girls and I have always gotten attentive and knowledgeable service. The staff is wonderful and really do care about the patients. The cost is reasonable, also. I never feel pushed into unnecessary tests or vaccines. I would definitely recommend this clinic.

Wonderful environment and friendly, helpful people. When I had to put down my previous kitty the were very compassionate and let me take all the time that I needed without feeling rushed. With both my previous kitty and my current kitty they have been wonderful at keeping me apprised of how their health is looking and what I can expect in the future. I highly recommend them for anyone looking for a vet.

They seem to have a very interesting marketing tactic here. I’m guessing they don’t answer their phones, so it forces you to go there in person. Once there, since you are there, might as well pay for the services you came to inquire about. But if you call, don’t expect anyone to answer. I’ve been calling 2-3 times per day this week and I’m on day 5, just for one question, and not one person has answered. In order for me to get one price quote, I guess me and my 1 year old have to go down there to talk to theme in person! Thanks guys!

Not a good experience. No help at all for a dying pet. Will never contact them again.

In May I received a text from Pioneer Animal Hospital that my dog needed to get updated on his vaccines. I made an appointment, arrived, went into the little room. An attendant came in with an “estimate” on paper, it had the vaccinations and several other items that weren’t in the text. I asked for just the vaccines, and told them they should examine my dog first then make recommendations on other procedures. Kinda thought this was strange.I also heard a loud argument taking place in the hallway between two employees. Not very professional. In August I received a text that my dog was due for a blood draw because he’s on a certain medication. This has been done before. Ok, made the appointment, showed up, went into the little room. An attendant came into the room with an “estimate”. It included the blood draw and lab work, around $150.00, not a problem. It also included 4 additional items that came in at $400.00. These items were not on my original text. I asked about the extra items, received a vague answer. I told her that I was here for a blood draw and labs, not the other items, she said she would get another estimate. How does a vet tech come up with $400.00 in extras without examining my dog?Twice the Vet practice tried to Pad my bill before looking at my dog. I do not like their business practices and believe it’s an intentional way of increasing revenue.I would like to hear from Pioneer Animal Hospitals owner, Teri Leichner, and have her explain their “estimates” and “extras”.

We feel very fortunate to have Dr. Martin and the staff of Pioneer Animal Hospital take care of our puppy Kip. Even during the pandemic, which has been so challenging for vets nationwide, Pioneer set up a process that worked, kept people safe and our pet healthy. Thank you!
