This place is a joke, if you wanna wait 20 minutes every time you pick up your prescription, then go here. Monday afternoon when everyone is picking up prescriptions from the weekend after work, huge line inside pharmacy and in the drive thru. Count 6 people behind the counter, only 1 of them is helping customers, working the phone, front counter, and drive thru alone. Finally get my prescription and get a few other items to get on my way out the door, and no one is at the front counter. Push a button and watch the cashier finish the conversation they are having with their friend before they come and help me. If the manager of this place is reading this get it together.

I used to work at a PBM, so understand that retail pharmacy is a thankless job. This is why I haven’t gotten upset with a pharmacy… until today. This Walgreens needs to train their staff better.
My local Walgreens was having trouble stocking a prescription, so after five days of waiting, I transferred that rx plus a very common rx to this pharmacy (both showed in stock on the app). Because this store is 30 minutes away, I CALLED TO CONFIRM everything was in stock. The person I talked to said it was and they could fill both prescriptions within two hours.
When I got there, the common medication was out of stock. The response from both the pharm tech and the pharmacist was “it wasn’t me that told you that it was in stock.” Maybe that’s true and maybe it isn’t, but if your team can’t do their job correctly you are still accountable for their failures. And a decent person would still care that someone had to drive an hour for no reason, because they trusted your staff.
At least the Walgreens in Milwaukie I called to transfer this prescription back to put a rush on the fill and apologized for the crappy service you provided.

The staff is rude & seem to be really unorganized. The need to close for 30 is weird, just rotate like everyone else. I thought Walgreens specialized in prescriptions but it's clear they do not. Never coming back to this place.

Terrible pharmacy, my child’s doctor sent in the prescription and so I went to pick it up they said they didn’t have anything in their system, I called back the doctor and they said they were going to call it in to make sure I was able to get it before they close. My kids doctor sat on hold for 32 minutes until they closed with no answer.

I've used this pharmacy for 15 years. The last 2 times I had my doctor send my kid's prescriptions here, they haven't been filled in a timely manner. I went in after 3 days to pick it up only to find they never started filling it and had to wait 2 hours (we live about 30 minutes away so that's not convenient at all). So, the following time I called the minute we left the Dr's office and confirmed that it was going to be filled as we needed this one right away. I was told that they see it's trasmitting but cannot yet open the order to view it but they would indeed fill it shortly. She then told me that if I signed up for the texts I'd receive confirmation once the order was filled and ready for pick up. I then received the text she initiated and signed up. It's now more than 24 hours since that conversation and I've still heard nothing from them. I called our pediatrician back and asked them to send the prescription to a different pharmacy (Safeway) and it's already filled. Wow. That's how it should be done! Will never go to Walgreens again. Their pharmacy sucks and the rest of the prices throughout the store are absurd.

Worst pharmacy ever!!! Keep removing my review Walgreens and I will keep putting it back up. The pharmacy staff is extremely rude they do not care. I was trying to get my medication and was HUNG UP ON!!! You lost my prescription and instead of fixing it I was HUNG UP ON!!! They constantly mess up my meds giving me the wrong amount and last time I was picking up my meds they told me it’s my responsibility to count them??? Really I thought that was your job!!!

Walgreens pharmacy cares more about their profits from putting inadequate staff than their customers getting important medications. There should be enough techs to cover lunch breaks so the pharmacy doesn’t close. The pharmacist is really rude too. I spent a half hour in line and once it became my turn and I was at the window the pharmacist said we’re closed and shut the window on me. I had to sit there while the customer in front of me argued with the pharmacist yet it would have take one minute to get my important medications but he didn’t care. Terrible pharmacy

It’s almost impossible to pick up your meds. Getting a tech on the phone takes over 15 minutes. They won’t fill a prescription if insurance doesn’t approve it, but you don’t find that out until after you drove there, so then you have to wait for them to fill it which takes a while. It’s awful

Sick and tired of Walgreens acting like the pharmacy police. If someone’s insurance will cover the prescription they should be able to pick it up. They try an make you wait for over 30-days for a prescription. That’s not their job. Other pharmacies fill it like they should. Plus they are closed during weekdays because they have not pharmacist that causes the prescription to be picked up late in the first place. This pharmacy and location is horrible!!!!
