To celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary we took surf lessons with Trish and had a blast! She was amazing at explaining and making us feel comfortable. We are definitely hooked and can’t wait to get back out. We appreciate the whole Pura Vida team! Thank you!!!

Wonderful experience! I had a surfing lesson through Pura Vida today with Tommy and it was so much fun! The folks in the shop were super friendly and accommodating. Tommy was a great teacher. I felt very safe and supported with him in the water and he was just a joy to surf with. I've surfed a few times before and he gave me very helpful tips for improving my technique. Definitely go surfing with Tommy and Pura Vida! Leaving the experience super stoked!

My wife and I had a lesson with Zara this last weekend and had an absolute blast. The shop was so welcoming and friendly. The lesson was so helpful to get to know the spot, what to watch out for, how to read the waves. Thank you all for everything!! We will be back very soon for more surfing at Otter Rock ^_^

I walked to the front door of this Pura Vida Surf Shop and it wasn't open all the way. I heard two dogs barking inside. I was going to buy a T-shirt for a friend who likes surfboarding and windsurfing. It wasn't the only shop in this neighborhood where I din't want to go back to on this block. There is a reason that there are so many negative reviews of this Pura Vida Surf Shop. I won't be back. My spouse said he would buy me a T-shirt somewhere else.

Super friendly staff. My husband and I took lessons a year ago for our anniversary and had a blast with an amazing teacher (forgot his name but he was amazing)! We came back a year and just rented some boards for the afternoon and had just as much fun. Definitely will be back hopefully more often!

Great surf shop, we were just walking around the area and wondered. The owner was great, shop was great, we purchased some shirts and stickers. Next time we are in the area we will try some surf lessons.

I called on a Saturday afternoon to see if they had any open spots for a surf lesson and they paired me with an instructor for the next morning! Quick wetsuit fitting, an extremely patient and positive instructor and a beautiful day made for an epic first time surfing. Thank you, thank you, thank you to Jaydn and the whole crew!

The staff and service were beyond amazing, we rented boards and wet suits for the day and they told us everything we needed to know about surfing and the area. I will definitely be coming back here again next time I’m visiting the Oregon coast
