Cape Kiwanda State Natural Area is a great and beautiful beach with beautiful scenery. It is a fantastic place to spend time with family and friends, remaining a family favorite. The giant sand dune is fun to climb. There is plenty of beach to walk and play, and you can drive right down to the water and into the dune. It is a nice, clean, and well taken care of place with great facilities. Visitors enjoy activities like surf fishing, flying kites, tide pool exploring, and taking photoshoots, especially at sunset. It is a very busy place, however, and parking can be a problem.
Beautiful combination of Sand dunes, sandstone caves and ocean. Must visit place.

This is always my go-to beach to bring my kids during low tide. The tide pools here are amazing!

Such a beautiful place they used to have a live camera with sound on YouTube but sadly that's down broken again they seem to have a lot trouble with keeping it going but it was a pleasure to go on YouTube and see it live I hope they get it up running again that would be nice.
