Called these clowns a day before I traveled two towns over to verify if they had a stabilizer bar.. They said yes. Called them to verify it was still there the next day when I said I'm on my way. They said yes they have it.
Got there to get it and they don't have the part. Wasted my time and my gas for no reason. Why? Why would you treat a customer like this. Totally unprofessionall.
They had my number so they could have called to tell me the mix up instead of letting me wait in town and extra 40 minutes before I had to walk in to find out they didn't have it.

Call about a break part, and they want to charge me 3 times as much as a new one.

Called twice to ask if they have a part in stock or a compatible vehicle that may have it and was absolutely treated like DIRT over the phone, the second call being a situation where I provided very specific information and got the answer that I will just have to burn my fuel bill up driving down there with the assurance that I will be treated better in person. At one point in the convo I inquired as to whether the gentleman I was speaking with is the owner. He said "Yeah... well.. I'm the second one... why does it matter?" Well. He's about to find out. I'm about to head down there right now. Afterwards, I may update this review And if they dont have my part, I *AM* going to exact an amount from that salvage that compensates me for my time and expenses on this deal... plus interest. Bank on it. EDIT UPDATE: Well. They did NOT have my part after the guy I spoke with on the phone said, and I quote, "I am sure we have it, if you just come down [to the salvage]..." However, these guys did work very hard for about an hour trying to find my part or one that is similar enough to do the job. Their conciliatory attitude was impressive, though. While not an apology, it was suffucient. I found out through my telephone that these guys are a 70-mile radius MONOPOLY- so unless you are a family member or friend involved in a personal issue, you're never going to get an apology. See, monopolies are like that only child friend you had back in grade school. They don't understand what it is like to be wrong because they have no iota of the concept communicated to them via their environment. Also, being a monopoly, they have very sensitive feelings and emotions, much like a baby bunny rabbit. My young boys did really enjoy meeting and interacting with Juneau, the salvage's mascot Golden Retriever. And the salvage also gave me a great deal on a really wonderful dozen eggs, five bucks. Listen folks: That's the deal- do yourself a favor and skip the phone call and just stop by. Their organizational standards are extremely customized, as they have no incentive for communicative uniformity. They're pretty cool people. I'm upgrading my rating from one star to three, and I look forward to the next time I do business with them, where that rating can't get any lower, and just might bump up a star or two.

Better to catch the owner in the mornings or he can be a bit crabby. Otherwise other employees, service, and price is good!

There isn't enough words to describe how horrible this place is, but taking advantage of people during a national disaster level flood is a new kind of low.
Go anywhere else and use any different towing company if at all possible.
Eventually you might be put in a situation where you're forced do deal with them and you'll see for yourself. If that ever happens, I'm sorry.
