Tried to open an account with Old west on a Friday. Was promised my account would be opened by end of day. Went in Monday to check in with my account status, was told they still hadn’t completed opening my account. Cancelled everything through them due to lack of customer service and communication.

I am not a big review guy on Facebook. however I am compelled to share the Pendleton Oregon branch manager Renee and her Hired Gun Dustin turned what was easily one of the top 5 worst days I've had in quite some time, into an amazing experience. I am absolutely ecstatic about becoming an old west customer. I'm sure there are plenty of people out there who are happy with their banking all I can say is give old west to try and you will be happier thanks Renee

Bank manager cheryl told me that "bank share does not mean you can do your banking here and if i had my finances in order i would know that and if i want to open an account there that she would make sure i could not" this was unprovoked

If you are in the market for a house loan, I highly recommend this place. I'm a business owner and currently in the market for a new house. I've explored all loan options in Pendleton, and because of my tax situation, all other places in town took one look at my application and told me no. Rhian Erickson at Old West Federal Credit Union went above and beyond! Rhian took her time and reviewed all details.
