The Red Lion Hotel Pendleton is an older property with very large, clean rooms and comfortable beds. It is a huge complex with a beautiful and inviting lobby, offering some amazing views from the back of the hotel. The furnishings are old but still comfortable. While the on-site restaurant and lounge are closed, the location is super close to downtown Pendleton and a gas station is right across the street. Experiences with staff vary, with some guests finding them incredibly accommodating and friendly, while others encountered rudeness. Some operational aspects are noted, like the advertised restaurant not being open and a tower sign that gives a poor appearance. The hotel provides a peaceful stay, though some room amenities, like heaters, can be disruptive. Guests are advised that there is petty crime in the town and to keep car doors locked.
So much better than the ratings would suggest. It was a great price nice room with a good view
