I give 1 star because if you live outside of the cities or towns you have to use them for internet dsl and have to have a phone line as well. They charge 130.00 for 12 mbs and 2 mbps upload if lucky. If you stream movies then good luck as its pretty much impossible to stream a movie in good quality as everything is being pushed to streaming.

No after hour account support and rude after hour service support technician. Very disappointed in the monopolized provider that is willing to make customers suffer because they have no other option in the local area.

I called Pioneer Connect today to see if they could stop the robo calls ? I got Shannon Morgan on the line and let me tell you this gal saved me 19 dollars and got rid of the robo calls. Her boss should give her a raise, it's hard to find someone who wants to work let alone help the customer!Thank you Shannon

I love working with Shannon at Pioneer. I’ve worked with her for my personal as well as for business accounts and she has always been the nicest, most professional person to get the job done. In fact everyone that I have had the pleasure of working with that works for this company has always been the best of help and always polite. I would pick them over any company that I have to pay outrageous prices and stay on hold for hours for any service over and over!

Pioneer Connect took over our internet service from Peak Internet in 2020. Now, after we have been using our peak.org email addresses for over 10 years, Pioneer Connect has decided to no longer include email hosting as a part of the service. Their ultimatum was to either start paying $5 per month to keep our long-standing email addresses, or move everything to a new email service provider. It has taken two long days (so far) to change the email address configured on over 100 bank, merchant, and other online accounts. And I haven't even started updating all my wife's accounts. Soon, email from any accounts I missed will start going into a black hole, because the charge for forwarding emails to a new address will be as high as keeping the old account ($5 per month). In most respects Pioneer Connect has been a decent ISP. But this was particularly nasty way to treat long standing customers. At the very least they could have offered free forwarding from the old email addresses. On the bright side, those old email addresses are no longer tying us to this, or any other, ISP now.

This company really loves the people they serve! We had to add another line to our account to accommodate our "COVID School house". We had 2 other families join ours (8 kids all together) in our make shift school! Pioneer offered free internet for our kids during the distance learning timeframe. We plan on making that a workout room next...and guess what...we sorta want to keep the strong internet in the future! We can't be more pleased with our service from them! Thanks again!

Showed up early for appt early with a very friendly and accommodating attitude. Install was quick. Had a ton of experience with all my questions answered.I highly recommend Pioneer Connect to all my friends and neighbors. Oh and did I mention .. no contracts? Yep.Mark

This is hands-down the best phone and internet company I have ever dealt with! Phenomenal attention to detail and fast and friendly customer service. I've had their service in my home for many years and aside from a few internet service bugs (that they were able to fix) I have no complaints. I also had Pioneer Connect at my business...until I was enticed to switch to Comcast a few years ago. One of the biggest mistakes I've ever made! After a while, Comcast business phone service was on the fritz several days per month and their support staff were unhelpful and disinterested. I decided to switch back to Pioneer and they expertly navigated a host of further issues caused by Comcast and went above and beyond to restore some stability to my business communications needs. Madonna, Chad, and Rod helped to earn back a customer for life!
