About Jackson County Animal Services
Jackson County Animal Services is a wonderful organization with a staff and volunteers who are knowledgeable, patient, kind, helpful, friendly, and dedicated. They are focused on making the adoption process easy and thorough, explaining the best ways to introduce animals. The staff is hard working and fantastic with the animals despite being understaffed and overloaded. The facility includes a playground for dogs. It is a great place to adopt or foster an animal.

I got my two boys Arrow and Dozer from Jackson County animal shelter. It was such a great experience picking them up. They have been such a great addition to my home. I would recommend this shelter to anyone looking for a pet.

JCAS is a wonderful organization with a staff who are knowledgeable, patient, kind and helpful. Our loved cat has gone missing and I phoned JCAS for support. Their staff member, Alex, was Johnny on the Spot and knew exactly how to help me. Thank you!
