About Jackson County Animal Services

Jackson County Animal Services is a wonderful organization with a staff and volunteers who are knowledgeable, patient, kind, helpful, friendly, and dedicated. They are focused on making the adoption process easy and thorough, explaining the best ways to introduce animals. The staff is hard working and fantastic with the animals despite being understaffed and overloaded. The facility includes a playground for dogs. It is a great place to adopt or foster an animal.

What a wonderful place, their dedication and love for animals is so precious. We just stopped by to look at a dog we are thinking about adoption.

Please adopt! I know they sometimes get a bad rep but the people here work so hard and genuinely care! Animals are neutered, vaccinated and microchipped...they need you.
