Very nice park, large parking lot
Playground: Didn't go to the playground but I saw that the park had a nice little jungle gym.
Toilets: Open and clean.
Picnic area: I saw picnic tables but it was too cold for me to go check them out.

The place is nice if your not looking for a spot to be by the river. It's got a great covered area and a nice park but I wouldn't recommend taking any kid under 5.

Abnormally large parking lot. Small disc golf course with a lot of spots to lose your disc.

It was just okay for a day event. Without proper signage, it was a little confusing to figure out where to go. #2 & #3 group sites are too close together. Not much privacy. The Park Ranger did stop by our site, & he was nice & helpful. I don't plan to go there again.

Outstanding experience!!!
We hosted a Baby Shower for our Daughter and Son-in-law and reserved Shelter #4. We paid $50 for the 50 person minimum and it is $1 per person additional up to 150 guests. Parking fee was $5 per car and we prepaid and picked up at the Lowel Ranger Station for all our guests. The shelter is beautiful and perfectly accommodating for all. There is handicap parking, very clean nice bathrooms and you can drive up to the shelter to unload your stuff. There are two impressive builtin tables with stainless steel tops and open underneath for your things. One has a sink and the other a builtin cook top with a flip up lid. There is one large barbecue grill and there is a long tall table with electrical output in the center. We used that table for the gifts. There are two built-in trash cans also. Also a great playground for the kids. When we pulled up and started unloading it wasn't 3 minutes and a Park Ranger came and greeted us. They said that not only do they leaf bower it all, but also wipe down sanitize all the table tops. This place was immaculate when we showed up! Then one hour later another Ranger checked in on us...then a third one came by and left his card and said if we needed anything to give him a call. I forgot to mention the gorgeous proximity to the Middle fork of the Willamette River! You can see it from the shelter and is great fishing!!! Right on the riverbank is a bench and a horseshoe pit to enjoy. This place had it all...price value, beautiful clean location and outstanding Park Rangers who were made the whole experience a memorable pleasure!!!
Thank You to all the Park Rangers 😁!!!
