Northern Lights Christmas Tree Farm offers a charming and family-friendly holiday experience on its 162-acre property, which includes about 80 acres dedicated to Christmas trees. Located just 15 minutes from town, the farm provides a peaceful, back-in-time atmosphere with fields, pasture, farmhouses, outbuildings, woods, and a half-mile waterfront on the Middle Fork of the Willamette River. Visitors enjoy a variety of activities that highlight farming, agritourism, and "agritainment," making it a popular destination for families and groups seeking festive fun. During visits, guests can choose from plenty of Christmas trees, take free hayrides, or cut their own. The farm features a coffee stand, gift shop, snack options like hot dogs and doughnuts, candy canes, and a shaker and wrapping machine for convenience. There are fun activities such as a haunted Harry Potter corn maze (reinstated for the season), petting goats, and entertainment like a guitarist performing near the maze. Visitors also appreciate the friendly staff, helpful parking attendants, and clear signs guiding their way. Despite some minor issues with communication about the haunted maze hours, guests find the experience enjoyable and fun-filled. The farm staff is known for their kindness, helping visitors even during unexpected weather, and providing amenities such as fire pits, hot cider, and cocoa. Overall, Northern Lights Christmas Tree Farm offers a warm, welcoming, and memorable holiday outing for families and friends.
Best place for a full day of Christmas tree fun! The staff is amazing, kind and so helpful. Love that they have beautiful ornaments, wreaths, and food trucks! A must do every December!
