This is my go to place! I come across town to see them now. I always come in alone and as a girl I have never had any issues or experienced sketchy/questionable behavior from them. They are friendly and great at communicating. They always explain what's going on with my vehicle in detail. They also do not take any extra liberties with repairs before checking with me and explaining my options which is an issue I've had with other mechanics in the past.

Got a couple fuel pumps, ignition module and some other preventative maintenance done through these guys and am happy with the work. I am even happier with their responsiveness. Both Bryan and Kory have helped me in a bind on my OSB ford on multiple occasions. Even taking time out of their day to give me pointers via phone while I am doing a lot of the work myself on this project and learning as I go. Always extremely informative and transparent. These guys are super honest and will be my go to mechanics in the future when needed.

Will be back. Honest and kind. Can't ask for much more. Explained some of the issues I should keep an eye on and what to look out for. Even offered to let me bring the car by to get fill tires or top off fluids. Never ever had that offered up. Says a lot about the operation and the folks that run it. Thanks!

Friendly, straightforward, honest mechanic shop. They fixed my daughter’s car for me and let me know what needed to be fixed now and what could wait. They even told me what I could do myself and gave me a few tips on how to do it. Pricing was fair and reasonable. Will definitely be taking all my vehicles here from now on. They even fought with the warranty people for me so I didn’t have to. AMAZING customer service!!!!

Fantastic experience! They got me in sooner than anyone else I called, and as a new customer they did a comprehensive check of the car in addition to diagnosing the issue at hand. I dropped it off at 7am, got a call just before noon with their recommended course of action and price, I agreed and it was done at 3pm. When I went to pick it up they walked me out to the car and made sure I was happy with how it ran, told me of some upcoming service needs, and told me I’m always welcome to drop by for tire air, washer fluid, etc. Just a really great, honest mechanic with fair prices. Would definitely reccomend!

I gave this place 5 Stars. I would have given it a 100. They were very accommodating to squeeze my son’s truck in for repairs after he had broke down on the highway during the scorching heat in Portland. He is away from home for the summer, staying in Portland, so as his father, not knowing any Auto Repair shops, I took a gamble with A-1, and I hit the jackpot. Fair, honest and high quality work with great customer service Highly recommended!

A local carwash snagged my wipers on my low-mileage Cavalier. A-1 took my car in the day I called them. They had it inspected by close of business that day, told me the estimate to replace the wiper transmission linkage, and said they could have it fixed the next day. I was shocked! My car may only have 18,000 miles on it, but it was 20 years old. They took excellent care of it, and finished it, as promised. I am definitely going back for future repairs!

My car is 20+ years old. Sixteen years ago, I drove across the; country and settled here. Ever since, Brian and the crew at A-1 Automotive have kept me rolling along without a care. I count on them for their expertise, & courteous, careful service. They never disappoint. Whether I turn up with an urgent need, or a scheduled appointment, they solve the problem promptly and efficiently. You can trust their work, and that is a huge relief to me who knows little about the mechanics of my car.
