HORRIBLE SERVICE………waited 4 hours for a tow truck. Called to check on it and was told it would be another hour, NOT HAPPY. I’ve been a customer for 30 years,
I’ll be canceling my membership tomorrow! Don’t waste your valuable time and money on AAA

AAA does foreign currency exchange. Who knew? They did it quickly and we’re very professional and friendly. On future travel overseas this is the place to go to.

I asked for a tow for my vehicle a few days ago waited over 4 hours for a tow was told multiple times that were was a tow truck driver on the way when there wasn’t and left my vehicle to go home since it had been 4 hours and was going onto 7:30 and now I’ve been told I have to go back to my vehicle and wait with it for a tow waste my of time and money I’m canceling my premium membership and never using AAA again

I was a longtime member of AAA Oregon and needed a simple tow less than .2 miles to a Les Schwab tire center when I had a tire that went completely flat. AAA dispatched a tow truck technician named Jennifer who told me that I should drive my car on zero psi with the tire separated from the rim so that they could get underneath the front of the car to tell me. I told them I wasn’t covered with that because it made damage my car. They told me yes it very potentially could and that I would be liable for any damages. I asked them for another solution and after 15 minutes on the phone with their supervisor, they came back and told me that they couldn’t do anything to help me. I asked to ask them to offer me another solution as I was a paying customer and they got frustrated and left me Alone in the parking lot with without providing service. I called to speak to AAA Oregon to request either a service technician or a refund of my money and I spoke with a supervisor Mark. Mark was rude, impatient, and wouldn’t do anything to help me. He told me that he wasn’t even able to offer a partial refund. I closed out my account and will never give this company another dime. Highly recommend avoiding.

Called for a tow, was given an estimated time of 1.5 hours. Cancelled after waiting for 4 hours and calling another tow company. What’s the point of having a membership for emergency services if you can’t actually get any help? We called every hour after the estimated time to see what was going on, and got a range of vague responses about “dispatch having our ticket next” but obviously no one showed up. The worst was one particular employee who essentially laughed when I told her we’d been waiting for 4 hours in the heat and that “we’d have to deal with it and keep waiting.” Appalling customer service.

CSAA is terrible. Dishonest, incompetent.
Agent disappeared as soon as I had a claim. Company lied to me, claimed multiple times they had coded my claim as a Uinsured Motorist claim (hit & run while parked) when in fact they were trying to apply a collision deductible for months. Their customer service rep had no understanding of Oregon insurance law. The claims supervisor even told me the claim had been corrected in their system when it had not. They had every piece of information supporting a um claim and yet still tried to apply a collision deductible. Even tried to dissuade me from filing a police report which I had already done.
Then, after approving my estimate, and then declaring my vehicle a total loss after a supplement estimate, took my vehicle from the repair shop without even notifying me of total loss claim status.
They literally stole my car.
Then, after I filed a complaint, they lied to the Oregon Insurance Department in their response letter.
To top it off they falsely reported my UI claim as an at fault accident, resulting in an adverse renewal rate with my new insurance company.
Do yourself a favor and stay far away from CSAA.

Good fast service for an International Driving Permit. $5 passport photos for AAA members. Plenty of parking available in the lot, which, unfortunately, reflects downtown Portland's problems. A little difficult to get to because of one way streets.
