They did a great job on my Audi A4 several years ago but now I'll have to look elsewhere as they don't work on electric vehicles. I've got some cosmetic scratches in some plastic molding and they're not interested because it's an EV.

They promised 2 weeks but it took 5 weeks to get my car done and found out they forgot to fix some other stuff as listed in the estimate file. Don't waste your time with this poor service.

Better than new!I took my Volvo xc90 with major damage in the back and the works was done beautifully and per Volvo recommendation The Body Shop owner and staff were professional. They took care of all of the communication with the Ins company. I will highly recommend this shop for any repair on your European vehicle.Services: Exhaust

I was rear ended, Ative Autobody was recommended to me and they did a fantastic job fixing the damages to my car. They were also great to work with and gave me realistic dates on when the repair work would be completed and met them!

They had my car for two weeks for a small dent in the hatchback lift. I thought it would be a short situation, but so goes it. They treated me with kindness and care. They worked directly with my insurance company so I'd didn't have to be concerned about much. The repair was perfect. There are no signs that I ever had a fender bender. That's the goal. I'm leaving a happy customer. I recommend Active Auto Body to anyone who wants good honest work.

Had the bulk of my boxster paint respray covered by insurance company, they were recommended and since my experience with Precision had been painful, I went for it. I explained I wanted a full respray and that I'd cover the rest of the costs. They were enthusiastic and offered no limitations on what they'd be willing to do. Once my car was in their hands everything changed. They suddenly had a deep disdain for doing full resprays, bemoaning what a pain in the ass they were. From there it was a stream of excuses about how busy they were and what they couldn't do and how they didn't like doing this type of job. They wouldn't bother with the metal around the the windshield because that might be difficult and the idea of door jams was clearly a non starter. After waiting for nearly 3 months I found that they hadn't painted the bumperettes, which at first they said they could do, then I explained that they could and they agreed to do it, but then just didn't. So, had to go back for that. Ultimately the paint looked very good as far as I could tell, but it definitely wasn't perfect and they did not blend the door jams well. The final straw is that my detailer told me (months later) he couldn't complete a 3 stage polish on the paint due to thin clear coat, which, as i explained to Rich as he started to blow up at me, I wasn't necessarily inclined to believe was the case. I simply wanted them to stand behind their work and offer to look at the paint or buff it out themselves. Rich ultimately said the car looks good and to get lost, reiterating what a PITA full resprays are and how miserable it is to be in the auto body business. Hey if I wanted perfection i should have gone elsewhere! What a f'ing attitude. Dealing with Rich is an absolute nightmare and I wouldn't wish the experience on anyone. AVOID.

We've had cars repaired here five or six times. I don't know... maybe seven?? (Over a lot of years - don't judge me.) The experience and repair have always been superb. Same is true for this last one (sure, I hit my neighbor's parked car - shut it). Norberto was incredibly kind and professional. Car was finished on time and in accordance with the insurer's estimate. They even took the time to clean glue residue from an old sticker, from my window. How nice is that? I'm sure I'll be seeing them again soon.

This is the best place to bring your BMW, mini or Volvo. Excellent work, good communication and very nice people. They know how to navigate the complexities of dealing with insurance companies and as the experts in their field, they know the best approach to fix your vehicle the right way. I will only use Active Auto Body!

Active was originally referred to me by BMW of Portland. If the dealership trusts them, that’s a good sign. I’ve since used them three times on different issues, and they’re always professional, timely, and reasonably priced, and I’ve been happy with the work done. What more could you want?

If I could leave no stars, I would. I have not had a shop try at every corner to deny my business. I was informed via the receptionist at Active Auto Body upon calling multiple body shops to repair my BMW. The receptionist said they do bumper swaps regularly, and my request was standard. Upon bringing the vehicle in for an estimate, Rich shared all the reasons they cannot swap an F31 bumper with a factory F31 bumper with minor cosmetic changes. Both are factory and both for the same front end. I called back to inquire with another Active Auto Body rep, and again they said they do this every day. Rich did not listen to my original request and assumed I wanted an m3 bumper; I do not, as the m3 is wider than the stock 330. Rich also thought it was important to share that my car had a factory recall not pertaining to any bodywork, and I let Rich know the parts per BMW have been on backorder for 24 months. Rich continuously tried to find reasons not to help. I have since had to follow up with Rich on two separate emails, checking pulse after 30 days on where we are procuring parts and seeking a reply to his prior message that he would share a quote for the work. It is the day of my drop-off, negotiating a rental car on a Monday, and Rich has not replied to confirm parts have been ordered or even approved per the price. I followed up with Rich again via phone, and he continued to push my business aside as he shared being short-staffed and hasn't had the time in over a month to check on the parts. WE ARE ALL SHORT-STAFFED AND DOING THE BEST WE CAN RICH! And that is why I made the concessions to take the day off to make this car hassle happen; however, Rich has not followed through with his quote and the work he said her would provide. Waste of time over the last month and a waste of a day today taking off work. I am simply trying to get my bumper fixed per an insurance claim that I was not of fault, and Rich has been the icing on the cake to make this a burden and a waste of time.
