I shipped in an Olympus OM3, the turnaround was around 10 weeks and was well worth the wait. This was the only camera shop that I found that was willing to work on this camera and I have shot a couple of rolls through it, and its working perfectly. Speaking with some people over the phone, it was clear that they care about their customers, and the camera's packaging when they sent it back was insanely well done. I'm extremely happy with how things went and will use this shop again if I need repairs for other cameras.

The best camera technicians and shop in Oregon. Brought in a broken half frame camera and they were able to fix (not an easy task). Excellent and friendly staff that went above and beyond. Thank you.

I had sent my Minolta SRT 101 in for a CLA The repair did get delayed a few times but when it was finished and they shipped it back to me, it was the best shipping I'd ever seen. It was box packing peanuts bubble wrap another box, more packing peanuts more packing material and then the camera wrapped in plastic secured with rubber bands. Everything works perfectly. I could not be happier. I'll definitely be coming back here and I suggest you do too!

"If I could rate them 10 stars, I would" Cliche, but true. There a few words that can describe how incredible Advance Camera is. I've visited this shop many, many times, with different questions, concerns, and needs. Every single time they have been able to not only answer them, but go above and beyond in helping me. Recently, I broke the OVF on my Fuji x100v (not an easy fix). Within 20 minutes of it breaking, I had called and scheduled the repair. AdvCam. handcut their own glass for the replacement, and worked within my small travel window to fix it on time. I was traveling internationally and desperately needed it fixed. Not ONLY was it fixed quickly, but at a price that was so reasonable, I was actually worried it was the wrong quote ?. I got the camera back, and it was cleaned, fixed, and looked almost brand new. The crew here is full of passionate people, who carry on a tradition and a need that many people take advantage of. If you need anything related to photography or film, this is the only place you will need to go. It is a blessing I live so close, I don't know what I would do without them. Thank you guys

I couldn’t tell you if these guys just straight up lied to me or if they are incompetent. After listening to one of their employees cough in my ear, I am starting to lean towards incompetent. My Sony telephoto lens has fungus and I really didn’t want have Sony’s technicians at precision camera work on it because of their poor reviews. Advance Camera was recommended to me because they are on the west coast (as am I) and they get really good reviews. After having a lengthy conversion with one of their employees I felt very good about shipping the lens to them for a repair. The guy I spoke with made it clear that they might not be able to repair the issue depending on how deep into the lens the fungus was. Once they received the lens and inspected it, they got back to me stating that they could remove what they described as “haze” and I received another email saying the work had been successfully completed. This should have been a warning sign that they didn’t know what they were talking about because it is clearly fungus and not haze. Once I got the lens back, not only was the fungus still there but now there are large dust particles in the lens. I called them to discuss the issue and had a painful conversation with one of the stores employees that went in circles for about 20 minutes. I really had high hopes for this place. It's a shame they were incapable of addressing the issue and incompetent on so many levels. I would avoid.

Fortunately I do not have many camera problems. However, should the need arise, like it just did, Advance Camera is always my first place to stop. Although Advance Camera is approximately eighty miles for where I live, I trust in their judgement and have always received expert advice and service. My last trip there saved me time and money. I very much appreciate the staff, and the services offered by Advance Camera!

I wish I could give this business 6 stars!
I thought for sure I was needing a new front element for my Sony 90mm Macro. Another shop quoted me hundreds more for the job. (Adding firmware update & focus calibration to the labor.) Advance was more responsive with e-mails and their quote was much more reasonable. Then they avoided the replacement altogether, and got my lens looking & working good as new for only $20!!
Another gold star for their packing job for the return shipping. The parcel was double-boxed and taped extra thorough & tight. It puts my packing to shame, and thought I was a pro at that!
Everyone I talked to was super friendly and knowledgeable and helpful.
I really can't recommend Advance Camera highly enough. They're so good, I'm actually looking forward to the next time I need to get some gear fixed!
I wonder if any of them have siblings who work on cars?

Excellent, friendly staff who love what they do! Had a camera cla’d and it’s good as new. Will definitely be back with any repairs I need. They have some cool cameras and lenses for sale too, definitely worth a stop by.

Alex and co. are very customer oriented with top-notch communication. I dropped off my dSLR kit for camera sensor/zoom lenses/prime lens cleaning with an expected turnaround of 3-5 days. The job was completed to a high level of quality within 2 days! Keep up the great work!
