Ever since the merge, it is near impossible to talk to a native English-speaking agent. The call center is overseas somewhere.
They would not disclose where. Very frustrating. Advantist was much better.

Pathetic excuse for a credit union

I have be a member of Adventist credit union for almost 25 years and was always amazed at the service that I received, now that they’ve joined with Rivermark. It feels like a hedge fund has taken them over. Customer service is definitely taken a backseat to maximum profits. if you want to talk to somebody at the bank Count on waiting three days for somebody to call you back, it was never like that. If you have a problem or a question, you have to deal with a automated teller, then you have to fight the automated teller to get to a call center whenever I need to deal with someone at the bank, I have to go to the bank in person. I can’t just call The bank itself, their new computer System sucks again, money was more important than service. I am not happy at all with this takeover.

Looks like my previous review was taken down ? Please beware this is no longer the same credit union it once was. All the positive reviews are from like a year ago. This merger has LOWERED the delivery of service and the standard for any customer based business. Their first line customer service staff are incredibly rude and unapologetic. Closing my account.

I have been a member of Advantis Credit Union/Rivermark, in it's various forms since 1980. Today, I found myself if merge hell. I don't know what kind of crap company sets a merger to go across the first 4 of 5 in the month, when everyone's bills/rent/mortgages are due. I get errors when trying to log in. I cannot see all of my accounts when I do manage to get in. Bill pay is still not available. Took me multiple tries to get into their online system to find out bill pay is still not available....and so on, ONLY to be told to call back later? Really I spent two days trying to get your overloaded phone system to pick up and another hour on hold and YOU WANT ME TO CALL BACK ? What kind of crap customer service is that. No, wrong, horrendous customer support.
I'm not changing this review. Their, at best, ai generated, response was pitiful. None of my specific issues were addressed in the response. In addition, i received NO return calls after leaving no less than three requests. Sadly, this is no longer the PACE/Advantis supportive credit union. They've apparently gotten too large. This is so sad , I wonder how many other relationships they have destroyed with the lack of support during thi merger.

I was having a hard time getting a refund from a company. I called three times with no luck. So, I want to Advantis. I called the vendor from Anthony’s office. He confirmed that I had made dual payments and they had both cleared. I should receive my refund in 3 to five days.

I've banked with Advantis Credit Union for over a decade and have always been happy with the friendly, efficient service. Today, however, one of the employees at the SE Belmont branch really went above and beyond. Andres is a fantastic problem solver who managed to quickly and completely resolve a thorny, long-standing problem with one of my accounts. I was on cloud nine when I walked out of there. Thank you, Andres!

Called to receive my member number today for my new auto loan with you guys and (Holly) hope I spelled it right, was amazing offered me everything and had an amazing attitude will definitely recommend Holly and Advantis to family members!!

They won't contact you if they're is a pro lem it will only be throught snail mail and if that piece of mail is some how lost well then you have no idea there is an issue with your account. Any other credit union would call to inform their clients something is wrong ?.

This is my third vehicle loan through Advantis Credit Union over the years and I just have to say the most recent loan transaction was even better than the last two superb transactions! Huge shout out to Amelia Hobbs who assisted me online through the entire process. I reached out on a Monday and the whole deal was completed by Thursday night for vehicle pickup on Friday. My main banking is actually at another credit union but I absolutely LOVE the loan process with Advantis. Simple, efficient, and the customer service rocks!

Jeri Maher and her team served us the best experience we could ever ask for as first time home owners. Jeri had the absolute patience of a saint with our million questions and concerns. Her and her team made the application process a breeze and were right there with us all the way pre and post closing. So glad to have met an efficient and responsive group!

I've been banking with Advantis for over a decade. My partner and I recently used them to mortgage our first home loan. Our loan officer was Jeri Maher and we genuinely couldn't have better things to say about Jeri and her guidance. She was communicative, kind, and extremely present throughout the entire mortgage transaction. She even offered her time and availability after the transaction was completed. Working with a local bank was a great choice for us - and we feel lucky to have had Jeri on our side.

I've been a member at Advantis for quite a few years now and it's always been a pleasure dealing with the employees via phone or at a branch any time I've needed help or had questions. I recently had to go into the gresham branch to get a new debit card and the process was quick & easy and I was out the door within 10 minutes. Today I called & spoke to Jennifer ( not sure if she's at a branch or is at the call center ) but she was upbeat, positive & you can just tell she is smiling behind the phone. She provided great service, answered my questions and stayed on the phone to make sure I got the form I needed in my email and waited for me to get it signed so everything could get processed. I told her people are quick to leave negative reviews so I wanted to make it a point to share some praise to Jennifer & the Gresham branch and the rest of the Advantis team. Great customer service does not go unnoticed!
